Abstract:This paper develops a risk-based integrated model of information systems development(ISD) project performance to explain the effect of project inherent uncertainty and management practices on project performance. Based on the dataset collected from customized information systems development projects of software houses in Hangzhou City of China,this paper carries out an empirical analysis on the research model. The results reveal that performance risk in development stage and performance risk in implementation stage are two intervening variables, which mediated the effects of project inherent uncertainty and management practices on both process and product performance. The findings suggest that management factors such as project planning and control,internal integration,user participation and top management support can improve project performance in the presence of project inherent uncertainty. In addition, the key influencing factors are found to be different in different project stages.Key influencing factors are project planning and control, internal integration and user participation in development stage. Key influencing factors are user participation and top management support in implementation stage.However,we have not found evidence for significant positive influence of process performance on product performance,which means that projects which come in within time and cost budgets may deliver poor systems.

Abstract:There are a lot of risks in the software developing process. To control the risk, the sorts of risk are defined from the software development and project management. The paper presents four main parts of risk identification and risk analysis. The risks during software development process and possible solutions are analyzed while the risk quantity method, parameter model and experience data are presented. According to these risk identification methods and every phase situation of software development, the strategy of risk control is proposed. About eighty percent risk can be identified and controlled in the statistic application.

Abstract:A key step of IT project risk management is risk assessment. Risk assessment methods rely on the problem and object to be addressed. This study introduces the process of IT project risk assessment and reviews applications of IT project risk assessment methods. Furthermore, we analyse and compare 20 methods for assessing risk in IT project. Finally, this study proposes a target-process-oriented framework for classifying IT project risk assessment methods. Differences of IT project risk assessment methods are also analysed.

Abstract:On the basis of the model of business risk,the concepts related to the risk of information technology(IT), the characteristics of the IT risk, and the impacts of such risk on the enterprises which have a high degree of dependence on information are analyzed. Then different managerial models are presented corresponding to the different phases of the IT risk management, and some critical successful factors(CSFs) in implementing the management are also listed. Abstract:Risk analysis is a set of techniques used to investigate problems created by uncertainty and to assess their effects. Today it is used in many areas, especially where safety is important. Now the project management in the area of IT (information technology) is becoming hot topic. And the risk problems in IT projects, especially in software development projects become more and more concentrated in software project management. So risk analysis in the area of software development project becomes increasingly important. This work analyses systematically the characteristics of project management for software itself, then the paper analyses the risk of software development projects in the following two aspects: one for owners and another for contractors. To owners the paper identifies and analyses the risk in software development projects according to lifecycle of a project. To contractors the paper identifies and assesses the risk of managing software development project on the basis of investigation of software development project in the IT enterprises of China. Some conclusions are obtained with the statistical analysis of this questionnaire-data by SPSS (statistics package for social science).

Abstract:The article deals with the problem of increasing the risk for modern national projects, actuated in the field of information technologies. The purpose of the article is to deepen and expand the theoretical and practical knowledge of complex enterprise management in conditions of increased risk for companies working in the field of information technologies. The main problems that arise during the operation of the project, the peculiarities of the information sphere and additional risks for the companies that continue to work under martial law are analyzed. It is concluded that the main reason for the deviation from the planned goals of the project is the lack of comprehensive qualified project management and the low level of audit in companies at all stages of project implementation. In order to improve the current situation, a general increase in the informational education of Ukrainians, an increase in the number of training programs for project participants, and an increase in wages to maintain a qualified staff of employees who would promptly respond to existing risks and contribute to the optimization of all processes in the project are proposed. The main areas of efficiency improvement for the Ukrainian IT enterprise were analyzed and recommendations for its improvement were provided, the basis of which is the use of modern ERP systems, artificial intelligence, Gartner's magic quadrant and the constant creation of tables of possible risk factors for the enterprise with calculations of the strength of their influence and prompt creation of alternative scenarios.

Abstract:Any development of information technology (IT) project entails some level of risk. Reasonable risk analysis can enhance the chance of successful electronic business project implementation. In this paper, related risk assessment indexes associated with IT project development are put forward from the aspect of personnel, system requirement, schedules and budges, developing technology, external resource and performance. At the same time, a risk assessment model is proposed by using of fuzzy set and grey theory and its effectiveness and feasibility are tested in a practical example. The model can assist the decision-makers to understand the current risks more intensively and assess the overall risks in a more exact way.
