Analysis on the Essential Issues in Improving Socialist System with Chinese Characteristics

Abstract:The socialist system with Chinese characteristics,which epitomizes the traits and advantages of socialism with Chinese characteristics,is the fundamental and institu-tional guarantee of contemporary China’s development and progress,and also the powerful mainstay in the realization of the great renewal of the Chinese nation--“the Chinese Dream”. Five essential issues with which we are confronted in unceasingly improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics must be well thrashed out,i.e.,adjustment of relationship between individuals and the whole society,agreement of market logic with ba-sic values of socialist system,mutual complementarity and coaction of formal institutions and informal ones,rational regulation of the relationship between human and nature,coor-dination between tradition and modernity as well as between mainland and outland in the course of modernizations. These five essential issues,which have rich intentions,broad ex-tensions and far-reaching influences,are involved in many complicated situations and of great importance and practical significance for unceasingly improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics,therefore,we must pay high attention to them.
