Abstract:Information retrieve is one of the most important operations in computer information systems. This paper presents a kind of fuzzy information retrieve method based on soft computing (SCFIR for short). SCFIR adopts fuzzy clustering analysis and artificial neural networks to organize databases in systems so as to increase the efficiency of fuzzy retrieve. At the same time, SCFTR realizes the understanding of query sentences in natural language by means of heuristic induct leading mechanism, interactional grammar analysis and semantic analysis. Finally, SCFTR applies several machine learning mechanisms (such as connective learning, evolutive learning, rough sets and so on) in the maintenance of system knowledge base, and thus the effectiveness and feasibility of retrieve systems are improved availably.

Abstract:The advent of Internet and WWW imposes great challenges to search information quickly and accurately. Intelligent search has become a hot topic in Internet computing, with rival search engines battling to become the de facto Web portal. Web search becomes more and more personalized and this requires that the search agent has some "intelligent" to satisfy specific requirements of different users. This paper reports a fuzzy intelligent search agent and shows its great advantages. A detail example has been given to illustrate the pros and cons of the fuzzy approach. Based on our fuzzy intelligent search agent, the efficiency of search has been greatly improved and it will be a practical solution for intelligent information retrieval.

Abstract:It is difficult to users searching information because of the rapid expanding of information resource in Internet. Traditional search engines can't deal with that very well. To aim at the problem, the paper presents agent, meta-search engine and active services technologies, and makes sure that the combine of them can fit for the demands of personalize and intelligent when users searching information. The article advances a system of intelligent meta-search engine system based on agent, expounds mainly the work principle of the user interface agent module. Traditional search engineers provide the function of information locating and information collecting, but not make fully use of the personalization information, not reconstruct the gathered information in terms of user’s interests, not consider the relation of some user in a period of time. This paper put Agent technologies into the search engineer system of personalization service, Agent can record the user’s personalization information. Agent technologies provides a new web information retrieval mode, probably can improve the efficiency of information retrieval significantly.

Abstract:In this paper, a way for Chinese information retrieval on internet characterized by intelligent and active search is presented, a tool for Chinese information retrieval on internet is also introduced. This tool adopts system architecture of intelligent Agent. By means of learning from the user's everyday documents and interactions with the user, the system can guess the requests of a user and thus setting up a basic requirement model for a certain user and further more, by using meta search engine, information from internet is gained automatically. Finally, with the help of localized intelligent processing technology, the system can expurgate or merge the records that have high comparability and provide the processed results to the user in an explicit and pellucid manner.

Abstract:Learning is an integral part of an intelligent agent's problem-solving ability. Most research works on learning assume that information are provided in a complete and well-structured manner and/or when rules are clearly specified, therefore have difficulties in handling cases with incomplete and unstructured data. This paper presents a novel approach to deal with this difficulty. It uses information retrieval techniques to enhance an agent's reasoning and problem-solving ability when only incomplete and unstructured information are available. Preliminary experimental results show that the integration of information retrieval can effectively help an agent to analyze the problem before solving it.

Abstract:The intelligent agents can perform the retrieval requests from users via collaboration in a distributed component repository system.The primary problem to solve in retrieval is the selection of data source,i.e.,to locate which repositories may possess the target components.The intelligent agents have their own knowledge base.They need the capability to learn new information and update their knowledge base to keep the retrieval results effective.This paper discusses the updatable agents that can incorporate new information into an existing knowledge base.We also propose a method for knowledge description and update based on logical programming.This method can execute the update task following a declarative updating policy.The updatable agents we proposed have clear semantics,and are able to deal with inconsistent information in a relatively intelligent way.

Abstract:Currently, large language models are on the rise with breakthrough progress in artificial intelligence. Existing reviews of AI game agents have not covered these latest developments, requiring a combing and analysis of the newest research advancements in game AI agents. This paper summarizes the application scenarios of game AI agents in four aspects: combat AI, Non-Player Character (NPC) interaction, automated testing, and Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) testing. In combat AI, there is a progressive developmental trend, with the introduction of Monte Carlo tree search and reinforcement learning enabling AI game agents to fully surpass humans in traditional board games. In NPC interaction, full AI is unnecessary. Game developers only need to incorporate AI for abilities related to player experience to increase appeal, with controllable generation results. In automated testing, game AI agents lack generalizability for testing so far. In AGI testing, academia has helpfully explored general game AI, but capabilities remain limited to certain games. Introducing large language models to game AI agents shows unprecedented capabilities. Finally, this paper provides an outlook on the hot topics and future directions of this research subject.
