Abstract:College mathematics course is an important general course in higher education. It is an important task of mathematics course to cultivate students' applied mathematical knowledge, ideas and methods to solve practical problems. Starting from the four characters of constructivism learning theory: situations, cooperation, dialogue and meaning construction, analysising the situation for the training of mathematical application ability, the paper proposes that the training of innovative application ability should be carried out from the following four aspects: Firstly, creating problem situations to strengthen students' dominant position in solving cognitive conflicts; Secondly, a collaborative team should be established to acquire knowledge and cultivate teamwork awareness during the discussion. Thirdly, it should designed mathematical experiments to cultivate the ability of inquiry and discovery in the process of reducing knowledge. Fourthly, it should actively construct knowledge system to improve innovation application ability in the process of meaning construction.

Abstract:This paper probes into qualities aiming at improving students’ creativity in mathematics learning and attempts to share Chinese experience of mathematical teaching. Based on the “Youth Innovation Competence Model”, we put forward six principles of mathematics creative teaching as follows: 1) encourage creative thinking; 2) make full use of representations and transformation of mathematical knowledge; 3) establish motivation, self-efficacy, and self-concept within students; 4) help students become self-regulated; 5) promote group interactions; and 6) implement open learning environment. With the utilization of six principles in mathematical teaching in Chinese classroom, the lesson Understanding of Long Cuboid and Cube of fifth grade shows that these principles can be perfectly implemented in driving problem, anchor task, and diagnostic assignment in mathematical teaching. Most importantly, students’ competence in innovation is greatly improved.

Abstract:Nowadays, the enrollment scale of China’s colleges and universities, students’ overall ability, teachers’ quality and professional academic level all influence college students’ enthusiasm, initiative and learning efficiency, which greatly affects the quality of talent cultivation in most colleges and universities. As for the traditional large-sized teaching model of advanced mathematics, student-centered teaching reforms in colleges and universities have been extensively explored. In addition to the traditional lecture-based teaching model, research-based teaching models, hybrid teaching models, and flipped classroom teaching models are typical teaching reforms. Based on the current situation and problems in advanced mathematics teaching in colleges and universities, this paper puts forward the “three-teaching” concept of teaching how to think, teaching how to experience, and teaching how to express in response to the problem, and uses the “three-teaching” concept to lead the situation-problem teaching and enable students to be driven by problems.

Abstract:Aiming at higher vocational students’ confusion about mathematics learning, we draw on the “integration of doing, learning and teaching” to change the closed state of mathematics teaching, serving the lifelong development of students. The theoretical basis is Dewey’s educational theory, Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought, Bandura’s activity theory, Marx’s theory on the comprehensive development of human, and system science. Dewey’s theory emphasizes active work, Tao Xingzhi’s educational thought emphasizes a high degree of integration of students’ practice, teachers’ guidance and their joint learning, Bandura’s theory emphasizes the relative effectiveness of teaching and learning, Marx’s theory of “whole person” emphasizes treating human as a whole, and his theory of systematic science emphasizes the synergistic collaboration between education reform and other aspects. Through the research, we have developed an open classroom, an effective teaching structure, an effective teaching methodology, an effective curriculum carrier for constructing mathematical literacy-mathematical culture and practice activities, enabling the integration of mathematical history with teaching and learning, and the emotional input for mathematical diary.

Abstract:In recent years,there has been a great increase in both the number of universities and adult colleges and the number of junior college students,undergraduates and graduates.However,these talents are far from enough to meet the growing economic and social needs.Therefore,great attention should be paid not only to the cultivation of students’ability but to the cultivation of their virtue,not only to the teaching of professional and technical knowledge but to the teaching of the knowledge of humanities.At the same time,it is necessary to turn the model of teacher teaching and student learning to the teaching ecological model of interaction between teachers and students.Furthermore,it is also essential to improve the connection between universities and employing units so that students and teachers are aware of the needs of employing units and thus can fit their view of employment to the talent view of employing units.
