Abstract:This paper reviews the total atmospheric emission reduction work in China, and puts forward the management system framework to reduce the amount of atmospheric emissions based on environmental quality, including the total amount control model as the core of atmospheric quality improvement and the technology method to determine target indicators, the implementation mechanism and a complete set of management system of the differentiation and intensification, and the evaluation system as the core of environmental quality.

Abstract:This paper analyzed the auto-monitoring atmospheric data of characteristic factors in a chemical industry zone in terms of overall status,concentration variation,and suspected sources.Selection of different situations of data sets may intensify the characteristics of air quality and pollution emissions,such as screening of suspected source.On-site inspection played an important role in the validation of auto-monitoring,especially for the identification of "false positive" on auto-monitoring system with portable gas chromatograph mass spectrometer.

Abstract:With the acceleration of economic reform and urbanization,China's air quality is facing unprecedented pressure.It is important to identify the risk factors influencing the air quality in the process of urbanization and study the differences of risk factors and their determinant powers at different coupling stages so as to assist the government in the atmospheric environment protection and air quality improvement.According to the coupling coordination level of urbanization and air quality in Zhejiang province,2015,this paper divides the province into coordinated area,transitional zone and uncoordinated area,and reveals the risk factors of air quality in these three zones via geographical detectors.The results show that:(1)The main risk factors of different coupling coordination areas are not exactly the same;(2)Urbanization factors are usually positively correlated with annual AQI values, while natural and meteorological factors usually exhibit negative correlation;(3)The combined effect of the two-factor interaction will enhance the explanatory power of the spatial distribution of the air quality.
A Method for Evaluating Air Quality and Its Application

Abstract:Air pollution is quite serious in China.In this paper,we present a method for evaluating air quality,and then apply it to designing a forecast and alarm system for the air pollution level of Xi'an.We first studied the basic modes of air pollution and the estimation of pollutant density.Then,we choose three kinds of pollution sources for our estimation:(1) point sources,like high chimneys;(2) surface sources,like factory groups or inhabitant communities;(3) line sources,like busy streets or express ways.We give a method for estimating the pollutant density.Finally,simulation and analysis is carried out for the estimation of the air quality of Xi'an,and the influence of factory smoke and the tail gas of automobiles on pepoele's life is also analyzed.Results show that our method is correct and feasible.

Abstract:The urban air quality reports of seven typical cities of China(including Beijing,Shanghai,Chongqing,Urum-chi,Lanzhou,Qingdao,Xiamen) in 2004 are analyzed in this paper.Based on the meteorology data of Beijing and Shanghai,the change features between particulate pollution and meteorology condition are summarized.The results show that the ambient atmosphere of these cities(except Xiamen) is polluted in different levels in 2004.The air qualities of the coastal cities are better than that of the northern inland cities in China.The principal pollutant of these typical cities is inhalable particulate.The variation features of the mass concentration of inhalable particulate of difference cities with season are different.In gener-al,the mass concentrations during summer and autumn are low,spring and winter are high.The local factors are the principal reasons of the variation with season.According the air quality reports and meteorology condition of Beijing and Shanghai,the following conclusions can be obtained: precipitation can wipe off the inhalable particulate,suitable wind can depress the mass concentration of inhalable particulate,and there is a obvious negative relativity between the visibility and mass concentration of inhalable particulate.

Abstract:This paper begins by outlining the evolution and current state of traditional wireless sensor networks, followed by an examination of the principle and architecture of wireless sensor networks, as well as the challenges that traditional wireless sensor networks face in environmental monitoring. This paper designs and develops a data visualization system for wireless sensor networks based on the visualization system and the advantages of other visualization systems, after analyzing and comparing the current visualization systems for monitoring wireless sensor networks. A real-time monitoring system for urban air quality based on wireless sensor network is designed to solve the problem that the traditional method of combining manual sampling with laboratory analysis for air quality monitoring is expensive and cannot carry out real-time online monitoring for multiple points at the same time. The system’s implementation is based primarily on air quality monitoring data collected in the Shenyang area for visual display and analysis. The air quality monitoring system proposed in this paper has a complete structure and independent modules and is simple to use. The dynamic adaptability of the monitoring system is greatly improved by utilizing the self-adaptability and self-organization of wireless sensor networks, which brings great convenience to air quality monitoring.

Abstract:Indoor air quality is an important part of indoor environment, with economic development and urbanization strategy, indoor air pollution in the cities residential are also emerged in small towns. Through extensive survey targeted Bai Sha Town of Chongqing and questionnaire investigations, this article reached the indoor air quality and feelings evaluation in small urban of Chongqing, and linked the investigation of a local residential ventilation conditions and decoration conditions to explain initially the dwellers' feelings and evaluation of the effect for the next study to improve indoor air quality and suggest the key technologies.

Abstract:Particulate matter data obtained from the national air quality monitoring network in China has become an essential and critical data source for many current and forthcoming studies as well as the formulation and implementation of air pollution regulatory policies on particulate matter (PM2.5 and PM10). However, the quality control of this data is dubitable and can affect many future studies and policies. This study identifies and elucidates two significant quality control issues with the data. They are PM2.5 levels exceeding concurrent co-located PM10 levels and the registration of same concentrations for consecutive hours at some stations. Future studies utilizing particulate matter data need to acknowledge and address these issues to ensure accurate and reliable results.

Abstract:This paper explores the methods of the GIS-aided air quality evaluation in Chengde City.By erdas software and ARC/INFO spatial data analysis/management,graphics display and output function,multi-factors compound analysis of atmosphere environment was carried out and a model of composite pollution index and evaluation criteria based on the variational weight principle were established.Results of evaluation were output in graphics.The result showed that GIS-aided evaluation of urban atmosphere quality is more advanced than the traditional methods.The evaluation model and classification criteria that have been established are significant in reality.

Abstract:Air, water, and radiation in urban living environments are crucial factors affecting human health, societal wellbeing, and sustainable development. This study developed a novel hybrid knowledge-based and data-driven approach for analyzing air, water, and radiation monitoring data to assess the quality of urban living natural environments (ULNEQ) in Guangdong Province. Fuzzy set-pair analysis was employed for data preprocessing, effectively incorporating domain knowledge into the raw data. Then, a hierarchical clustering algorithm was utilized to evaluate the ULNEQ level. The proposed approach enhanced data interpretability and optimized the clustering process, yielding more robust and reliable analytical results. The results revealed a diverse environmental landscape across the province, with Heyuan and Meizhou consistently maintaining high standards, whereas Dongguan and Jieyang exhibited notably poor conditions, ranking at Level IV or V for over 72% of the observed months. Key factors such as monthly average concentration ozone (0.56), the city water quality index (0.49), and the proportion of days with standard air quality (PDSAQ) (-0.39) significantly influenced the ULNEQ, with PDSAQ showing a negative correlation. Notably, a province-wide observation in June 2022 showed all cities maintaining ULEQ gradings of Level II or better. This innovative approach can be adapted to enhance the management and control of ULNEQ.

Abstract:The pollutant emission from vehicle exhaust has become one of the main sources of urban air pollution. Through the analysis of the diffusion of vehicle exhaust pollutants in the limited area, combined with traffic pollution sources are line source pollution characteristics, the hourly average of vehicle pollutant concentration is obtained by using the remote sensing equipment on both sides of the road. Finally, the quality grade of vehicle exhaust pollutant concentrations in a limited area is evaluated with the evidence theory.
