Abstract:Energy storage capacitor has been focused by increasing attentions due to its advantages like handiness, high efficiency, and environment friendliness. To obtain dielectric capacitor composites, poly vinylidene fluoride(PVDF) and conductive polyaniline(PANI) were selected as the polymer matrix and the filler respectively. The influences of PANI contents(fPANI) and frequency on the dielectric properties were studied. The results show that when the fPANI is up to 0.05(higher than the percolation threshold fC=0.041),the dielectric constant of the hybrid film is as high as 456(at 100 Hz),the breakdown strength is 60 MV/m,and the energy density is 7.2 J/cm3,which is three times higher than that of pure PVDF.Moreover, the dielectric constant is frequency independent even for the composites with the fPANI approaching to the fC.The results of SEM and XRD reveal that PANI can disperse uniformly in the PVDF matrix, and that PVDF exists as typical β-PVDF,respectively.The percolative theory was employed to explain the results. This route was demonstrated to be effective to prepare high energy density capacitor materials used in wide frequency range.
