25 Cases Clinical Analysis of Pregnancy Complicated with Confirmed Influenza A(H_1N_1) Infection

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics,treatment and outcomes of pregnancy complicated with Influenza A (H1N1).Methods:A retrospective review was done in Beijing Ditan hospital between Oct. 2009 to Jan. 2010,25 pregnant women complicated with Influenza A (H1N1) were recruited.Results:25 patients had the symptoms of cold,and 7 severe cases had respitatory failure.The common type of influenza A showed normal white blood cell and lymphocyte ratio,and no marked change of myocardia enzyme and liver enzyme. While,for the severe type,white blood cells were normal,lymphocytes proportion was decreased,diversed increase of myocardia enzyme and liver enzyme,CD4+、CD8+ T lymphocytes counting dropped. Also,the inflammatory change in chest x-ray was obvious.The cure rate of pregnant women complicated with Influenza A (H1N1) is 92%(23/25),18 live neonatal babies were obtained,no deformity was found. Conclusions:The common type Influenza A (H1N1) can be cured if diagnosed and treated on time. While,the severe type is usually complicated with other system disorders,so the outcome of pregnancy is bad,if pregnancy is terminated at a proper time,situation of the patient may be improved.
