Abstract:This paper focuses on the design of hardware framework about DSP-based embedded License Plate Detection system including the detailed technology of circuit design among image sensor, DSP, Flash, SDRAM, timer and resetting. The program on license plate detection has been tested on the designed board, it run all right with natural light condition, and the location of license plate is accurate. The size and cost of the board are small, but it is fast and highly reliable.

Our algorithm features a fast computing speed, a high resolution, and an excellent compatibility as well.

Abstract:The utility model relates to a fingerprint door lock system, comprising a shell, a driving mechanism, a fingerprint sensor, an image sensor and a loudspeaker arranged on the shell, and a master controller, a verification module, a driving circuit and a memory arranged in the shell, wherein the fingerprint sensor and the image sensor are both connected with the verification module, and the master controller controls the driving mechanism to open and close the door lock through the driving circuit. The fingerprint door lock system provided by the utility model combines a fingerprint identification technology and a face identification technology, safety and identifiability of the door lock system can be improved, and the safety of the door lock system is improved by the design of loudspeaker alarming and facial image acquisition and storage.

Abstract:Aiming at the requirements of high real-time and high accuracy for abnormal sound detection in intelligent surveillance front-end system, this paper presents a scheme of abnormal sounds detection based on mixed characteristic parameters and improved Dynamic Time Warping(DTW) algorithm. This system detects endpoints of sounds based on short-time magnitude and short-time threshold-crossing rate, extracts mixed characteristic parameters including short-time magnitude, Mel Frequency Cestrum Coefficient (MFCC) and difference coefficient. It recognizes sounds by improved DTW algorithm. Experimental results on the TI TMS320DM368 processor platform show that the recognition time of intelligent surveillance front-end system based on the proposed scheme is less than 1 s and average recognition rate is 89.3%.

Abstract:This paper gives a practical schema for using DSP boards to construct Vehicle License Plate Recognition (VLPR) modules that could be embedded in any Intelligent Transportation System (ITS). Using DSP can avoid the heavy investment in dedicated VLPR system and improve the computational power compared to PC software environment. Low cost, high computational power, and high flexibility of DSP provide the License Plate Recognition System (LPRS) an excellent cost-effective solution to execute the major part of the recognition tasks. This paper describes a successful implementation of VLPR system based on Texas Instruments (TI)’s TMS320DM642. The DSP board acquires video (which could be output to a monitor for surveillance) from a camera, captures images from the video, locates and recognizes the license plates in images, and then sends the recognized results and related images after compression to a host PC through the network. Finally, the overall software is optimized according to the features of DM642 chip. Experiments showed that the DSP VLPR system performs well on the local license plates, and that the processing speed and accuracy can meet the requirement of practical applications.

Abstract:Biometrics is more and more widely used in the security system, with the current realistic needs as a starting point, a microcontroller-based fingerprint identification electronic lock design method is proposed to realize the transformation from the traditional security system door locks to the new fingerprint identification electronic locks. This design uses the matrix keyboard to enter the password and fingerprint to unlock the door in two ways: Through the fingerprint module to collect fingerprints; stm32 microcontroller as the main control module of the fingerprint identification electronic lock, the fingerprints collected by the AS608 fingerprint module and the fingerprints in the memory of the microcontroller will be compared, and the results will be displayed on the screen, the comparison is successful to open the lock, and vice versa does not open the lock. Through the 4x4 matrix keyboard to realize the password unlocking; stm32 microcontroller as the main control module of the fingerprint identification electronic lock, the password entered on the matrix keyboard and the password in the memory of the microcontroller will be compared, and the unlocking result will be displayed on the screen. This design has the advantages of small size, high cost-effectiveness and reliable safety factor. The overall test results of the system show that the fingerprint identification electronic lock functions normally, and the functional modules work stably, realizing the basic functions that the fingerprint identification electronic lock has, which can be used for door locks and other various devices that need security locks.

Abstract:The safety of househood is the key part of personal and property safety.As the increased case of housebreaking and robbery,the demand of a cheap,simple house alarm system with small disturbance is rising day by day.It introduces an alarm system based on the 80C51 microcontroller,describing its composition and software/hardware design.This system integrates situation identification,voice warning,on-site and remote alarming with relatively low cost,guaranteeing a friendly man-machine-environment by providing both guests and the house owner with necessary instructions.It supports operations including system activation/deactivation,time setting,password setting,alarming phone numbers setting,alarming time and phone number recording and checking.When activated,it would simultaneously ring the alarm and dial the stored numbers to inform the owner or the police of the potential housebreaking.The system designed here will be base of the practicle alarm system in the future.

Abstract:A fingerprint identification and control system for locks and strongboxes is designed in this paper.The system uses MSP430F149 as a master chip,FSC7002 as a fingerprint processing chip,and both password and fingerprint can be used to open locks.An optional remote opening and alarm module is also designed.The module transmits information through the GSM network by using MG323 as a communication chip.The program based on Android system is developed for remote opening.The software uses DES to encrypt information to improve the security of transmission.

Abstract:Fingerprint lock is good at security and reliablibility.In this paper,a new electronic and mechanical lock is designed,to which the right key is used to manage the fingerprint and the password.The lock is divided into two parts: the electronic lock with fingerprint identification module based on the ATmega162 and the mechanical lock based on the PIC16F72.The electronic lock and the mechanical lock are relatively independent.The communication between the two parts is implemented by the super heterodyne receiving and transmitting modules.The verefication shows that the whole system is stable,reliable and high security,and has low power consumption.

Abstract:Abstract Conventional entrance guard systems have monotonous functions. This paper designs an entrance guard system that takes the STM32 single chip machine as the control center and has the fingerprint identification module, GSM short-messaging module, the call notification module to realize local and remote unlocking (door opening) operations. Touch display screens and the STemWin graphics software are combined to design the human-computer interaction interface. The external memory module is designed to record the unlocking time and the historical data about the door opener. This designed system has diverse functions, secure, convenient for operations and can realize visualization of human computer interaction.

Abstract:This paper presents an enhanced methodology in implementing and designing a security system for door locking purpose based on fingerprint, GSM technology, monitoring camera, alarm system and password system. This security system will provide enough security by limiting unauthorized people access and taking a record of those who pass through it. Sometimes unauthorized people or burglars try to break the door for evil intentions at a time when no one is available at a targeted place, so this paper introduces some security solutions for that problem and they are the main contribution of our paper. We introduce an alarm system to alert the people at the surroundings, GSM module that’s used to send an SMS message to the registered user’s (responsible person) and a web camera that’s used to take a video for a person who tries to break the lock, password keypad that’s used after fingerprint sensing to provide extra security. Definitely the registered users are the only persons who can access the lock, and the door closes after five seconds from the opening time. The method used to implement this experiment involves the use of a fingerprint scanner R305 that’s interfaced with Arduino microcontroller-ATMEGA328P to control the locking and unlocking process of a door. During all the opening and closing processes, the16x2 Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) displays some commands which can be used to instruct the users like, place your finger on the sensor, the door is opened, the door is closed, the message is sent, please enter the password etc. If an unregistered user tries to access the door using their fingerprints, automatically his/her access is denied. The proposed door lock security system is can be used at homes, offices, banks, hospitals, and in other governmental and private sectors. Our proposed system was tested in real-time and has shown competitive results compared to other projects using RFI and password.

Abstract:In this paper, an intelligent fingerprint lock system based on STM32 is studied. The fingerprint identification technology and the traditional password input method are combined to realize the identification of the user, with high security. The system is composed of MCU control module, fingerprint identification module, electromagnetic lock module, user interaction module and power supply part. These systems cooperate with each other to realize a series of functions such as accurate fingerprint identification and unlocking. In terms of program, C language is used for modular programming, which is convenient for debugging and maintenance and upgrading. After the actual test, the system has high recognition rate, fast response speed, and can adapt to various use environment, and has a broad market prospect.

Abstract:To achieve high speed clothing cutting with high control precision,the control system for cutting automatically by laser is developed.Taking advantages of digital signal processor TMS320F2812′s rich hardware resources,the system improved laser cutting technology and tangent motion interpolation algorithm.Based on laser cutting principle and general design ideas of auto-cutting system,the mechanical structure with hardware and software is developed for the cutting control system.It involved secure digital card storage and FAT32 file management process,realizing the transmission of files for trajectory control.The results indicated that this automatic laser-cutting system fulfils cutting more exactly and efficiently.Compared with conventional products,it deleted the vibration from mechanical cutter,meanwhile improving the work efficiency and quality for clothing cutting or pattern cutting.

Abstract:Aiming at the different methods of stealing the safe, a short-message alarming system with acceleration sensor was presented. Three different alarming methods including speech, short-message and phone was achieved with GSM module. The modules of the circuit, software process and algorithm were presented in the paper. The experimental results showed that the system has a great applied value with its good stability and 100% alarm rate. Therefore, the system effectively improved the alarming ability for the safe.

Abstract:Digital door locks are widely used not only in general homes such as houses and apartments, but also in spaces where external intrusion must be prevented based on high security and convenience. Recently, smart door locks with additional technologies such as fingerprint recognition and Bluetooth communication have also been developed, and the door lock market is on the rise. Digital door locks are more convenient to use compared to the existing key-type door locks. However, there are often cases of exploiting security vulnerabilities such as exploiting and invading the user's trace remaining on the door lock. This paper proposes a door lock with a structure that can complement the shape of the current door lock exposed to the outside and minimize the user's fingerprint trace. In addition, a method of reinforcing security is applied using fingerprint recognition through image processing and a random pattern number arrangement. An experiment was conducted to confirm whether the door lock of this type was actually usable, and the recognition of partially damaged fingerprints was also confirmed. It was shown that the door lock structure proposed in this paper can maximize security by combining fingerprint recognition technology and random pattern numbering while minimizing external exposure.

Abstract:This paper proposes an A-class platform of bank note image identification based on FPGA and DSP,featured highspeed acquisition,real-time processing with the background of a practical project.The platform uses the outputs from CIS,quantized by ADC,as system inputs,FPGA and DSP as system processor,then transmits the bank note information to main controller of bank note discriminating device as hints of counterfeit currency.It can be integrated into the bank note discriminating device as a sub-module and has a bright prospect in application,as well as good scalability and stability.
