Abstract:Due to economic globalization,China's exchange with foreign countries in various fields,such as politics,economics,science and cultures,becoming more and more frequent,producing new requirements for the cultivation of qualified translators and interpreters.Therefore,it is necessary to clarify two basic problems in translators and interpreters' education:(1)the respective status of and relationship between Undergraduate Translation Major(UTM)and Master of Translation and Interpreting(MTI);(2)the relationship between the training of translation skills and the cultivation of theoretical attainment in these programs.The paper starts by fixing the objective of cultivating qualified translators and interpreters,and proposes the specific requirements for the buildup of theoretical attainment in their training programs.Then after discussing the compilation of theoretical textbooks in Translation Studies with a view to nurturing theoretical attainment in qualified translators and interpreters,it sets forth relevant principles for compiling such textbooks;that is,they should be conducive to the establishment of appropriate views on translation and its history characterized by qualified translators and interpreters,and be conducive to their understanding of the science of translation and their mastery of translation skills.

Abstract:The tourism management major has obvious interdisciplinary and composite characteristics. The traditional theoretical teaching based classroom teaching model is not sensitive to new tourism formats and does not match the talent demand that supports the high-quality development of the tourism industry. Promote the reform of undergraduate courses in tourism management majors and innovate the teaching philosophy of tourism management classrooms in accordance with the new liberal arts concept and requirements is an important path to cultivate high-quality tourism talents. Abstract:At present, there is a lack of policy guidance and professional research on the general vocational integration curriculum system in China's comprehensive high schools. This study plays a promoting role in changing this phenomenon. The main purpose of this paper is to construct a general vocational integration curriculum of tourism management and service major in comprehensive high school by looking into the similarities and differences of the curriculum system of ordinary high school, comprehensive high school, and secondary vocational school. The relevant information of the main curriculum integration mode in China's general vocational integration and the research status of the development of comprehensive high schools were obtained through the network inquiry. The course materials of comprehensive high schools, ordinary high schools and secondary vocational schools in Weifang City, Shandong Province were collected through personal interviews with teachers and course designers of these schools. Document analysis was utilized for the curriculum system of tourism service and management major in a secondary vocational school. Based on the curriculum setting requirements of secondary vocational schools and the concept of general vocational integration curriculum setting, the course types, content, class hours and class hour ratio of tourism service and management major were analyzed and summarized. By comparing the three curricula according to concept, content, difficulty and arrangement, the similarities and differences were obtained. Thus, the curriculum of tourism service and management major in comprehensive high school was constructed. For further improvement, some suggestions and strategies for the construction of general vocational integration courses were given.
A New Vocational Education Curriculum Evaluation Method Based on CIPP Model and Game Theory

Abstract:. To evaluate whether the teaching objectives of the course meet the expected requirements, this paper proposed a new vocational education curriculum evaluation method based on CIPP model and Game theory. Firstly, we used the Context, Input, Process, and Product Evaluation (CIPP) model to construct the evaluation index system of vocational education curriculum. Then the coef-ﬁcient of variation method is applied to optimize the evaluation index system (OEIS). Secondly, the combined weighting method, based on game theory, is proposed to calculate the weight of the above evaluation index. Thirdly, the vocational education curriculum evaluation model is presented to evaluate the teaching objectives of the course. Finally, the effectiveness of the evaluation method was veriﬁed by evaluating the course of Mechanical Drawing. Simulation results show that the proposed method can give the result of course evaluation objectively and impartially.

Abstract:When the literature of tourism higher education is concerned, Scholars from China and abroad have had a relatively deep and broad research in the field of the characteristics of tourism theory, according to which the curriculum system and teaching methods are designed, while at the same time, there is research vacancy when we look into the field of the practical ways of successful cultivating of tourism bachelor's theory system. Thus, the article first proves the necessity of reading guidance to classics in professional curriculum of tourism higher education through theoretical analyzing of the interdisciplinary characteristics of tourism major and the human resource demands of tourism industry in China; then the empirical study and quantitative analysis of the effects and influential factors of classics reading guidance in tourism academic classes are made, according to these analysis, the article draws an conclusion that during the teaching of professional courses, the initiatives of the under-graduates to take part in the reading of classics should be attached full importance to in the syllabus; the effects of classics reading should try to be improved through the organization of specialized courses teaching; the input of students' classics reading should be strengthened by the design of the cultivating methods; and the teaching resources should be optimized to provide better environment for classics reading. Besides these suggestions, four implementation methods are also provided as the conclusion.

Abstract:Since the implementation of the reform and opening-up policy, Chinese universities have seen a significant growth in the study of foreign languages, with a focus on English majors. Nonetheless, ongoing difficulties compromise this educational system's efficacy. It is often acknowledged by experts that, despite substantial expenditure, English majors struggle to satisfy societal demands because of curricular structures that are out of date and were inherited from earlier times. To address these issues, this paper suggests extensive changes to the applied undergraduate English major curriculum. The suggested changes, which stress the development of practical skills in line with the demands of the modern labor market, seek to close the gap between theory and practice by drawing on theoretical frameworks and real-world experiences. The theoretical structure for curriculum design includes refining traditional language proficiency courses, incorporating a variety of professional modules, creating career-focused vocational courses, enhancing comprehensive practical training. By aligning curriculum content with evolving industry demands and fostering a holistic approach to talent cultivation, these reforms strive to equip English majors with the necessary skills and competencies to succeed in today's dynamic global landscape.

Abstract:In order to implement the implementation plan of China's higher vocational education reform and strengthen the skill cultivation of vocational students, this article adopts the teaching philosophy of "student-centered, output oriented, and continuous improvement" to reform and practice the curriculum organization, curriculum content, teaching methods, and curriculum evaluation. The teaching objectives support the specification of talent cultivation, the teaching content aligns with the job requirements of enterprise positions, the teaching methods reflect student-centered, the assessment and evaluation focus on the combination of process evaluation, professional literacy and ideological and political evaluation, and the achievement of course objectives. It not only focuses on students' understanding of theoretical knowledge, but also emphasizes the training of practical skills, and emphasizes the cultivation of students' quality. Practice has proven that this method effectively enhances students' awareness of autonomous learning and significantly improves teaching effectiveness.

Abstract:With the progression of globalization and vocational education, English teaching in higher vocational colleges faces new challenges and opportunities. Practical teaching strategies are increasingly emphasized in higher vocational English education, aiming to enhance students’ English application skills and professional qualities through real-life scenarios and task-oriented learning. This paper discusses the practical teaching strategies in higher vocational English education, from theoretical foundations and current status analysis to specific strategy design and application, systematically analyzing the concept, core elements, and effects of practical teaching. Research shows that practical teaching strategies effectively improve students’ English application abilities and learning motivation, yet challenges remain in implementation. Abstract:The rapid development of new digital economies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and big data is profoundly changing various industries, especially the tourism industry. The digital upgrade has promoted the transformation and development of the tourism industry, and has given rise to a series of new employment positions closely related to digital technology, providing broader development space and transformation opportunities for the cultivation of tourism professionals. In this digitalization context, The most urgent thing is to explore the best talent cultivation model to adapt to the changes in the tourism industry environment and the demand for tourism talents. On the basis of drawing on the practical experiences from professional talent cultivation reform in existing universities, combined with the problems in the process of tourism majors` talents cultivation, this paper proposes an innovative plan for the talent cultivation mode of higher vocational tourism majors under the theoretical framework of “job-course-competition-certification” integration. It is hoped that through the vivid practice of three integration scenarios: “job- course integration”, “course-competition integration”, and “course-certification integration”, it will optimize the talent training system for tourism majors in higher vocational colleges, and achieve high-quality and skilled training for tourism majors talents.
