Abstract:The flax fiber has been used as reinforcing materials in composites in this paper. By using needle punching technology, different kinds of flax mats can be made as the reinforcement for unsaturated resin composites. VARTM is used for making composite sheets. At last, the tensile properties of different kinds of composite sheets are tested and compared.
