Abstract:In order to improve the interoperation of spatial information,a new solution to implementation of discovery and retrieval for spatial information web services based on the ontology technology was proposed.After the knowledge expression of web services capacity using web ontology language for services(OWL-S)was introduced,an architecture for spatial information interaction was constructed,and a semantic matchmaker based on ontology was added into the traditional service registry center in the architecture.An actualized process of service request under the frame of spatial information web services was given on the frame of the standard open GIS consortium(OGC) web services.The results show that the ontology technology can extend the semantic of web services,re-use the same or similar web services,and improve the efficiency of reasoning.

Abstract:The 8th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing in Sensor Systems (DCOSS 2012) is taking place in Hangzhou, China, from Wednesday, May 16, to Friday, May 18, 2012. Previous editions have taken place in Barcelona, Spain (2011), Santa Barbara, USA (2010), Los Angeles, USA (2009), Santorini Island, Greece (2008), Santa Fe, USA (2007), San Francisco, USA (2006), and Marina del Rey, USA (2005). We are pleased to present the conference program to you. This year, the DCOSS program features high-quality research presentations, two keynotes, and a poster and work-inprogress session. The conference program covers several aspects of distributed computing in sensor systems aligned with the three main tracks: algorithms and analysis, signal processing and information theory, and systems and applications. This year we received 100 submissions. Each submitted paper was reviewed by at least three Technical Program Committee experts, and ultimately a total of 34 papers were accepted. We will also feature three interesting workshops and one poster/demonstration/ work-in-progress session. We are proud to feature two excellent keynotes from leading experts on issues currently driving the distributed computing and sensor systems community. We hope that the technical program will provide a stimulating forum for researchers and practitioners throughout all three days. © 2012 IEEE.

Abstract:Service Oriented Computing (SOC) has initially developed for the Internet, but also identified as an appealing computing paradigm for developing applications in distributed wireless environments. The open nature of wireless medium may expose services to a variety of unauthorized third parties (eavesdroppers), resulting in insecure service interactions, while cooperative jamming is promising to provide a strong form of security. This paper focuses on security performance study of wireless communications for service interactions among different parties in SOC. More specifically, this paper establishes a theoretical framework for the study of eavesdropper-tolerance capability (i.e., the maximum number of eavesdroppers that can be tolerated) in a two-hop wireless network, where the cooperative jamming is adopted to ensure security defined by secrecy outage probability (SOP) and opportunistic relaying is adopted to guarantee reliability defined by transmission outage probability (TOP). For the concerned network, exact modeling for SOP and fine approximation for TOP are first conducted based on the Central Limit Theorem. With the help of SOP and TOP models and also the Stochastic Ordering Theory, the model for eavesdropper-tolerance capability analysis is then developed. Finally, extensive simulation and numerical results are provided to illustrate the efficiency of our theoretical framework as well as the eavesdropper-tolerance capability of the concerned network from adopting cooperative jamming and opportunistic relaying.

Abstract:Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a widely accepted and engaged paradigm for the realization of business processes that incorporate several distributed, loosely coupled partners. However, how to work with service computing in a cloud environment is the latest challenge. Formal methods can play a fundamental and important role in service computing and cloud computing. It has been great advances in formal methods research via tool support and industrial best practice, and their role in a variety of industries, domains, and in certification and assurance. The aim of FM-S&C 2016 is to encourage academic researchers and industry practitioners to present and discuss all formal analysis, modeling and verification related to research and experiences in a broad spectrum of services and cloud computing.

Abstract:It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 2014 International Workshop on Security in Cloud Computing (SCC). Cloud computing has emerged as today's most exciting computing paradigm shift in information technology, since it promises numerous benefits, including lower costs, rapid scaling, easier maintenance, and ubiquitous availability. Meanwhile, cloud computing also raises many security and privacy challenges such as data protection, recovery, privacy, access control, trusted computing, as well as legal issues in areas such as regulatory compliance, auditing, and many others. This workshop aims to bring together the research efforts from both the academia and industry in all security aspects related to cloud computing. This is the second year for our SCC workshop. We received 21 submissions from nine countries covering four continents, including Canada, China, Egypt, France, India, Oman, Sudan, Sweden, and United States. The submissions were reviewed by a technical program committee of 48 experts. The final program contains 9 papers, representing an acceptance rate of 43%. Our program also features a keynote speech \"On the Security of Cloud Data Storage and Sharing\" by Dr. Jianying Zhou from Infocomm Security Department at Institute for Infocomm Research, Singapore.

Abstract:The two-volume set LNCS 7649 + 7650 constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 11th International Semantic Web Conference, ISWC 2012, held in Boston, MA, USA, in November 2012. The International Semantic Web Conference is the premier forum for Semantic Web research, where cutting edge scientific results and technological innovations are presented, where problems and solutions are discussed, and where the future of this vision is being developed. It brings together specialists in fields such as artificial intelligence, databases, social networks, distributed computing, Web engineering, information systems, human-computer interaction, natural language processing, and the social sciences. Volume 1 contains a total of 41 papers which were presented in the research track. They were carefully reviewed and selected from 186 submissions. Volume 2 contains 17 papers from the in-use track which were accepted from 77 submissions. In addition, it presents 8 contributions to the evaluations and experiments track and 7 long papers and 8 short papers of the doctoral consortium.

Abstract:It is our great pleasure to welcome to you 2015 edition of the ACM Cloud Computing Security Workshop (CCSW) held October 16, 2015, in conjunction with the 22nd ACM Computer and Communication Security (CCS) conference in Denver, Colorado, USA. The paradigm of cloud computing is revolutionizing today's information communication technologies, impacting and redefining how data is stored, retrieved, processed and shared. Cloud services provide an elastic, scalable, large-scale environment typically marked by a high degree of resource virtualization and sharing among tenants. While the economic benefits of cloud computing are widely recognized, this new computing model creates security and privacy requirements different from traditional environments. With the wide adoption of cloud computing paradigm, security, privacy, and availability of the involved operations, components, and systems are becoming of increasing importance. The CCSW workshop focuses on the security challenges and research opportunities raised by the recent developments in cloud computing. The goal of the workshop is to explore the security and privacy challenges that are raised by cloud computing, and foster development of new ideas and solutions that can be transitioned into practice. The 2015 CSW workshop received a total of twenty-one high quality submissions, out of which six were selected by the program committee through a rigorous reviewing process. We are delighted to have three keynote talks that bring new perspectives and practical problems from industry to the research community related to issues like security and privacy of data stored in the cloud, economic impact of security, and risk management in cloud settings. Abstract:Web service has been an important solution to achieve resource sharing and application integration in the Internet era, which can develop the most promising software application with the on-demand changing computing paradigm, through service reuse and dynamic synthesis. One of the latest challenges is how to work with service computing in a cloud computing environment. There is a strong tradition of attracting submissions on formal approaches to enterprise systems modeling in general, and business process modeling in particular. The topic of FM-S&C 2015 is the theory aspect of data intensive services and formal methods. It encourages academic researchers and industry practitioners to present and discuss formal analysis, modeling and verification related researches and experiences.

Abstract:The Internet provides an open infrastructure for exchanging and sharing information resources among people all over the world. The rapid development and wide application of the Internet makes it a new mainstream platform for using, developing, deploying and executing software systems. In order to provide an interactive forum for researchers and professionals from related disciplines to meet and exchange ideas addressing the challenges in the Internetware setting, the Technical Committees on Software Engineering and System Software of China Computer Federation (CCF) sponsored the Asia-Pacific Symposium on Internetware series, with ACM's Cooperation. In this report, we report news from the Internetware 2012, specially the 5 keynotes and 4 regular papers that were recommended for publication in a special issue on "Internetware" of the International Journal of Software and Informatics after presented at the symposium.
