Abstract:The regional information sharing provides the ability to transfer up-to-date patient health information quickly and easily across hospitals and institutes. However, the fact that most systems are developed proprietarily hinders data integration. Most developers solve this problem by employing specific data model standards, leading to system inflexibility and inextensibility. In this paper, we present an ontology-based integration method to cope with data heterogeneity in the regional health information network. To carry out interoperability at runtime and in a non-intrusive manner, we design three-layer system architecture. The semantic layer is used to perform coordination among heterogeneous systems, which can connect seamlessly without changing original data structure. We adopt the hybrid ontology approach that extracts information from heterogeneous databases to establish local ontologies and uses an upper-level ontology to make these ontologies compatible. This paper demonstrates a means of accessing to heterogeneous databases for better regional information sharing.

Abstract:One of the important problems in the development of techniques for the semantic Web is the mapping of ontologies. Indeed,the Web is constituted by a variety of information sources,each expressed over a certain ontology-In order to share the information among such sources, their semantic mapping is required- In this paper, first we discuss the three integration architectures. Then we refer to the taxonomy which is presented by E- Ramh.and apply to summarize various major ontology mapping approaches. At last. we compare four typical mapping approaches following the criteria,and conclude that the combination of the individual matchers is a promising direction.

Abstract:The rapid development of information technology causes the problem of heterogeneous data,Ontology tech-nology solved the semantic heterogeneity in heterogeneous data integration, and achieved the global access and seman-tic interoperability of heterogeneous database through the description of the common semantic domain knowledge. Based on the research of the data integration system, it solved the problem of automatically generation of the local ontology,the optimization packaging of the database operation, the global management of bean components and refined the system strati-fication, comprehensively improve the efficiency of system integration, reduce the system coupling degree, increasing the flexibility of the system through the integration of the struts, hibernate, spring technology.

Abstract:To resolve the problem that heterogeneous data integration system which used hybrid ontology approach lack of scalability,the database design process on an ontology-based formal structure of data source is analyzed and two types of integrated operations are introduced,which extend global ontology by adding their own concept specializations from local sources and project the instances of local sources onto the global ontology.The analysis of integrated operations is proved that the approach ensures the autonomy of databases design in local source and allows the system to have good scalability.

Abstract:This paper presents an ontology-based data integration framework that is capable of deriving an ontology from a collection of XML schemas in a semiautomatic manner and integrating heterogeneous XML sources at the semantic level. The ontology in our system is constructed following a layered approach where an intermediate model is introduced to explicate the underlying semantics of XML schemas and to reduce the complexity of ontology derivation. This two-phase approach is performed semi-automatically by applying a set of heuristic rules and by interpreting mapping information defined by users. The resulting ontology serves as a global semantic view over a set of data sources to be integrated. Moreover, we also adopt a data warehousing approach to populate this ontology with data from XML instance documents automatically. The proposed framework has been implemented and evaluated using off the-Web XML schemas.

Abstract:Data integration based on ontology has become an effective method to cope with the heterogeneous data on the Internet. In this paper, we consider the problem of data integration and use an ontology-based framework to address this problem at a semantic level. we apply the idea of ontology as a tool for data integration. An improved data integration method is proposed by analyzing the existing data integration system. This method uses ontology web language to represent the global ontology, local ontology and the mapping rules between them. The mapping rules can be modified according to the dynamic change of data source. The method has three main stages: building the shared vocabulary, building local ontologies and defining mappings.

Abstract:Ontology building and mapping technology is mainly for the elimination of the semantic heterogeneity of heterogeneous data sources and is the foundation to realize the heterogeneous data semantic analytical.Based on the existing research results of bus framework for enterprise information integration and aiming at the existing problems of ontology building process,this paper puts forward global ontology building technology based on the sharing glossary and local ontology building technology based on UML,which makes the relationship of constructing ontology element become more accurate,complete and with good consistency.Also it simplifies the process of building ontology workload.And the ontology mapping strategies based on comprehensive similarity is proposed,the integrated similarity is calculated from four aspects:concept name,structure,property,instance,which greatly improves the ontology mapping precision.

Abstract:On the basis of analyzing the knowledge requirement of manufacturing enterprise,the knowledge integration framework based on ontology is put forward and a primary ontology of manufacturing enterprise is built in the integrated development environment.The key realization technologies such as ontology-based knowledge modeling,storage model of repository,and knowledge retrieval based conception are presented.The prototype system indicates that the knowledge integration based on ontology can solve the problem of semantic integration of heterogeneous knowledge source in aviation manufacturing enterprise.

Abstract:The difficulty of data integration is how to solve the problem of heterogeneous semantics. Using ontology's advantage in semantic integration, this paper designs a data integration frame based on ontology semantic mapping. According to the definition and structure of the ontology concepts, an ontology semantic mapping algorithm is given, which confirms the concepts' semantic relationship by a comparison between attribute sets, and takes the semantic information of concept names, attributes and correlative concepts into account when the similarity degree is computed. Finally, the ontology semantic mapping is determined by the mapping algorithm of the concepts' attribute sets and the concepts' mapping algorithm. Therefore the problem of semantic mapping in data integration is solved properly.

Abstract:In order to solve the problem of information standardization and semantization,the combination of information coding technology and ontology technology is applied to the information integration of manufacture enterprise in this paper.The information resource is organized by the classification of "information domain",and the hierarchical structure of ontological information coding system is constructed by analyzing the relationship of sub-domains and the relationship of information.The relations between essential properties and attached properties were analyzed by the method of ontology,and the model of the ontological information coding,which was validated by the material example,was formed.Finally,the frame of information integration based on ontological information coding was designed and the executable mechanism was expatiated.It proves that this model is suitable for the standardization and semantization of information in enterprise information integration.

Abstract:In order to deal with the most serious problem among heterogeneous data source-semantic heterogeneity,we incorporate ontology into a traditional middleware.By constructing a domanial ontology,a uniform conceptive model is provided to every local data source.The semantic heterogeneity between overall ontology and local ontology could be settled by establishing the mapping between them.In this subject we use the way of combining automatic mapping and semi-automatic mapping to generate mapping relations innovatively.And an algorithm is given here.As a result,this way will provide an effective solution to the automatic integration of massive data.

Abstract:This paper presented ontology classification and representation of manufacturing corporation knowledge firstly, embody idea and methodology of ontology classification and representation. Secondly, the frame, theory and algorithm of ontology mapping technology and ontology semantic transform, its core technology of knowledge sharing and integration were investigated. Based on above, we give the model of knowledge integration. This methodology of knowledge integration based on ontology overcomes defects of semantic information losing because of old database integration using medial agency or software interface.
