Abstract:Considering the requirement of the multi-parameter-combined environment testing device, a kind of multi-parameter measure and control system based on wireless communication technology was studied in this paper. First, the overall structure of the multi-parameter measure and control system based on wireless communication in combined environment device was put forward, which was made up of six control subsystems: a host computer, the centrifuge and dynamic balance system, the vibration and rectification system, the temperature system, the air pressure system and the sound pressure system. Then, the communication protocol and hardware structure of the multi-computer communication system based on wireless transmission were mainly studied. And software design technology of multi-parameter measure and control system was studied in succession. Finally, the five-parameter-combined environment testing was carried out. The experimental results show that the measure and control tasks of the combined environment testing can be well finished by the multi-parameter measure and control system.

Abstract:A development module of network-based virtual instrument technology intended to be used for inspecting the performance of vehicle was presented. G web server provided by NI company helped achieve the web issue of vehicle inspection front panel. Meanwhile DataSocket technique helped achieve data transfer through internet. LabVIEW and web technology were combined to realize the remote control of vehicle inspection to meet the needs of clients. The system has been proved to be quite effective in performance examination of vehicle, such as brake horsepower, speed, noise, lamplight, smoke intensity and the weight of every axle.

Abstract:A set of measuring and controlling instrument that integrates functions of a sine-wave generator, an AC digital voltmeter and a frequency-rate counter, and a suit of specially-designed software are used to make it easy for users to get the characters of transducers such as sensitivity, linearity and frequency response. Both the hardware and software schemes of the instrument is analyzed and evaluated. Experimental results prove that the system is suitable for calibration of vibration transducers. The system has greatly improved the efficiency of the calibration at lower cost.

Abstract:Virtual instruments (VIs) require metrological verification when applied as measuring instruments. Owing to the software-centered architecture, metrological evaluation of VIs includes two aspects: measurement functions and software characteristics. Complexity of software imposes difficulties on metrological testing of VIs. Key approaches and technologies for metrology evaluation of virtual instruments are investigated and analyzed in this paper. The principal issue is evaluation of measurement uncertainty. The nature and regularity of measurement uncertainty caused by software and algorithms can be evaluated by modeling, simulation, analysis, testing and statistics with support of powerful computing capability of PC. Another concern is evaluation of software features like correctness, reliability, stability, security and real-time of VIs. Technologies from software engineering, software testing and computer security domain can be used for these purposes. For example, a variety of black-box testing, white-box testing and modeling approaches can be used to evaluate the reliability of modules, components, applications and the whole VI software. The security of a VI can be assessed by methods like vulnerability scanning and penetration analysis. In order to facilitate metrology institutions to perform metrological verification of VIs efficiently, an automatic metrological tool for the above validation is essential. Based on technologies of numerical simulation, software testing and system benchmarking, a framework for the automatic tool is proposed in this paper. Investigation on implementation of existing automatic tools that perform calculation of measurement uncertainty, software testing and security assessment demonstrates the feasibility of the automatic framework advanced. © 2008 SPIE.

Abstract:With the rapid advancement of virtual instrument technology, converting the data measurement and control platform to a virtual one has become fashionable. This study focuses on dynamic measurement in order to create a multichannel parallel dynamic testing virtual instrument and then test the instrument’s performance. System login, user management, database storage, query and compression, data processing and real-time display, multifunctional analysis, remote access, and report generation modules have all been designed and implemented. A dynamic measurement uncertainty evaluation method based on quasi-Monte Carlo (MC) method is proposed in light of the common phenomenon that static is used instead of dynamic in the current evaluation process of dynamic measurement uncertainty. For this example, the actual results show that the algorithm produces very reliable and stable calculation results.

Abstract:LabVIEW is a powerful development environment for virtual instrument,which is used widely. MATLAB is a high-performance language for technical computing. This paper presents the using of LabVIEW combined with MATLAB in harmonics measurement analysis. Computer is used to process the harmonics data. In the application of this system, MATLAB is used to do Fast Fourier algorithm and wavelet transform algorithm with harmonics data. And the data is transmitted through Internet by NI DataSocket technology.

Abstract:The construction,function and specialties of the intelligent measurement and control system for the testing of separate steam injection were discussed in brief.Based on the computer,modern sensor and automatic control technology,the system can complete 16 analog signal and 32 digital signal acquisition and control,it is the core component of this system,change the status of each equipment,change the flow of the experiment,This system can be used to simulate the process of separate steam injection,can also be used to test the sealing performance of the down-hole production tools and the performance of the thermal recovery tools which worked in high temperature and high pressure.At the same time,we build real-time database and history database in the system,analyze the collected data,and provide allround reference.In addition,we take some measures to enhance the dependability of the system,including choose high-dependability industrial computer and special equipment,design emergency hand operation unit.

Abstract:Abstract Aiming at the measurement laboratory with many types of testing equipment, many test items, low automation of instruments and equipment, inconsistent data interface standards, ineffective coordination of testing services, low level of laboratory testing resources and data sharing, and difficulty in achieving effective data and resources connection, etc. Problem, design and develop an intelligent detection system for full performance test of measurement equipment. The research and development of the full-performance test intelligent detection system replaces manual operation with standardized automatic operation, which improves the consistency, standardization and reliability of the full-performance test of the measurement equipment, and realizes the reproducibility and traceability of the test. The automatic collection of full performance test data has been realized, laying a solid foundation for the construction of the national industrial basic database.
