Abstract:Through three aspects of knowledge structure,teaching and scientific research and worth attitude of continuous ed- ucation,the author has extended investigations and analyses to the comprehensive competence of the younger PE teachers in universities in Chongqing.It can be concluded that on one hand they have made a great improvement in the record of formal schooling and the theoretic knowledge;on the other,some of them have problems.Their physical quality declines too quickly and they are not as good as the elder ones on the athletic ability and teaching attitude.Their expectancy to further education has the characteristic of diversification.
