Abstract:Objective To explore the effectiveness of savoring-based online self-help intervention on undergraduates'' school adjustment. Methods 487 undergraduates were selected to complete Chinese Version of Savoring Beliefs Inventory(SBI) and Undergraduate School Adjustment Questionnaire(USAQ). Then, 60 undergraduates with low school adjustment level from them and willing to participant were divided into two groups randomly to join in the followed intervention research. Intervention tasks were individually delivered to participants in intervention group to complete by internet-based structural diary form once every two days and maintained 45 days(From November 11, 2018 to December 25, 2018). At the next day of the last tasks and half a month apart, Chinese Version of Savoring Beliefs Inventory and Undergraduate School Adjustment Questionnaire were administered to 60 undergraduates again. Adopt independent sample T-test and repeated measurement analysis of variance to process the data. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference between the taste and school adjustment level between the intervention group and the control group. The intervention group was significantly higher than the control group in both taste and tracking scores. In the intervention group, there was no significant difference between the two. In the intervention group, there was no significant difference between the school adaptation post-test score and the follow-up post-test score, but both of them significantly exceeded the pre-test score, and they also significantly exceeded the control group, respectively. Conclusion Online self-help intervention based on taste can significantly improve the level of school adaptation of the study subjects, and at the same time show a better continuity.
