Abstract:In this paper, we study some generalized contraction conditions for three self-mappings on generalized b-metric spaces to prove the existence of some unique common fixed-point results. To unify our results, we establish a supportive example for three self-mappings to show the uniqueness of a common fixed point for a generalized contraction in the said space. In addition, we present a supportive application of nonlinear integral equations for the validation of our work. The concept presented in this paper will play an important role in the theory of fixed points in the context of generalized metric spaces with applications.

Abstract:Banach contraction principle is one of the earlier and main results in fixed point theory. Banach contraction principle which guarantees existence and uniqueness of fixed point was proved in complete metric spaces in 1922 by Banach. According to this principle, "let ( X , d ) be a complete metric space and f : X → X be a mapping. If there exists a constant 0 ≤ k < 1 such that for all x , y ∈ X , d ( f x , f y ) ≤ k . d ( x , y ), then f has a unique fixed point". In this work, we define almost contraction in extended b-metric space and prove some fixed point theorems for mappings satisfying this type contraction.

Abstract:Geometric properties of the fixed point set $Fix(f)$ of a self-mapping $f$ on a metric or a generalized metric space is an attractive issue. The set $Fix(f)$ can contain a geometric figure (a circle, an ellipse, etc.) or it can be a geometric figure. In this paper, we consider the set of simulation functions for geometric applications in the fixed point theory both on metric and some generalized metric spaces ($S$-metric spaces and $b$-metric spaces). The main motivation of this paper is to investigate the geometric properties of non unique fixed points of self-mappings via simulation functions.

The existence of nonnegative solution of implicit nonlinear integral equations is also studied. Some examples demonstrating the validity of our main results are constructed. The presented results extend and unify various comparable results in the existing literature.

Abstract:In our paper, motivated by the extended b-metric space’s concept, we prove two main results regarding fixed point theorems in extended b-metric spaces which holds true for both linear and non-linear contraction mappings. H. Aydi and S. Czerwik worked and showed that the results in generalized b-metric spaces hold true for Linear-Quasi and NonLinear Contractions. Here in this paper we prove that the work of H. Aydi and S. Czerwik can further be applied to the extended b-metrics spaces Our results may further generalize some pre-existing results like quasi (s, r)-contractive multivalued operators.

Abstract:In this paper, we prove the existence and uniqueness of common fixed point of tower type contractive mappings in complete metric (pseudo)modular spaces involving the theoretic relation. However, the newly introduced contraction in this paper further characterize and includes in their full strength several existing results in metrical fixed point theory. Some nontrivial supportive examples were given to justify our result. Our results generalize, improve, and unify some existing results.

Abstract:In this paper, owing to the concept of F-contraction, we define two new classes of functions M(S,T)$$M(S,T)$$ and N(S,T)$$N(S,T)$$, and we prove some new fixed point results for single-valued and multivalued mappings in complete metric spaces. Our results extend, generalize and unify several known results in the literature. We include an example to show that the generalization is proper.

Abstract:In 1994, Matthews obtained an extension of the celebrated Banach fixed point theorem to the partial metric framework (Ann. N.Y. Acad. Sci. 728:183-197, 1994). Motivated by the Matthews extension of the Banach theorem, we present a Nemytskii-Edelstein type fixed point theorem for self-mappings in partial metric spaces in such a way that the classical one can be retrieved as a particular case of our new result. We give examples which show that the assumed hypothesis in our new result cannot be weakened. Moreover, we show that our new fixed point theorem allows one to find fixed points of mappings in some cases in which the Matthews result and the classical Nemytskii-Edelstein one cannot be applied. Furthermore, we provide a negative answer to the question about whether our new result can be retrieved as a particular case of the classical Nemytskii-Edelstein one whenever the metrization technique, developed by Hitzler and Seda (Mathematical Aspects of Logic Programming Semantics, 2011), is applied to partial metric spaces.

Abstract:This paper explores fixed points for both contractive and non-contractive mappings in traditional b-metric spaces, preordered b-metric spaces, and random b-metric spaces. Our findings provide insights into the behavior of mappings under various constraints and extend our approach to include coincidence and common fixed-point theorems in these spaces. We present new examples and graphical representations for the first time, offering novel results and enhancing several related findings in the literature, while broadening the scope of earlier works of Ran and Reurings, Nieto and Rodríguez-López, Górnicki, and others.

Abstract:In this work we are interested in proving a general common fixed point theorem for a pair of multi-valued mappings satisfying a new type of implicit relation in complex-valued b -metric spaces. The results in this paper generalize the results obtained in Ahmad et al. (in: and Applied Analysis, vol 2013, p 12, 2013; J Linear Topol Algebra 9(1):75–94, 2020). An example and an application to a complex linear system are given to support our results.

Abstract:In the present work, we will establish and prove some fixed point theorems for mappings that satisfy a set of conditions in controlled metric type spaces introduced by Mlaiki et al. [N. Mlaiki, H. Aydi, N. Souayah, T. Abdeljawad, Controlled metric type spaces and the related contraction principle. Mathematics 2018, 6,194]. Our technique in constructing our new contraction conditions is to insert the control function $ \theta(u, l) $ that appears on the right hand side of the triangular inequality of the definition of the controlled metric spaces in the right hand side of our proposed contraction conditions. Our results enrich the field of fixed point theory with novel findings that generalize many findings found in the literature. We provide an example to show the usefulness of our results. Also, we present an application to our results to show their significance.

To support our findings, we present pertinent definitions and properties associated with F-contraction mappings. Additionally, we establish an analogue to the Banach contraction theorem. Our results contribute to the broader understanding of this field by extending and generalizing existing findings in the literature.
