Abstract:This article is an 11-year posttreatment follow-up of a skeletal Class II hyperdivergent malocclusion with a severe deep overbite and overjet treated with miniscrew-assisted customized lingual appliances. The patient was treated with miniscrew-assisted customized lingual appliances 11 years ago and achieved a well-aligned dentition with ideal intercuspation and a dramatically improved profile. Photographic records 11 years after completion of the treatment show a well-established and functional occlusion with a slight overjet and mandibular crowding relapse. The patient remained satisfied with the occlusal and facial results over the 11 years.
