Research on the Strategies of Improving Higher Vocational College Students'Willingness of Online Continual Learning

Abstract:Online learning is an important way for the information-based development of higher vocational education, while students’ willingness of continual learning is a critical factor affecting the highquality development of online learning. Through analysis of the current situation of online teaching in higher vocational colleges, it is found that there exist problems such as lack of situated teaching, lack of perception of usefulness, insufficient classroom physical participation, low learning satisfaction, lack of effectiveness in teaching interaction and evaluation, and low willingness of continual learning. To address these problems,combined with the expectation confirmation model and embodied cognition theory, a model of higher vocational college students’ willingness of online continual learning is constructed. To stimulate higher vocational college students’ learning interest and improve their willingness and behavior of online continual learning,it is suggested that measures such as optimizing situational design, deepening the level of interaction and emphasizing personalized guidance can be taken before, in and after class.
