Abstract:Accurately quantifying the energy demand of urban buildings is helpful to achieve building energy efficiency, but the influence of local microclimate difference in severe cold areas on heating and cooling energy demands of individual buildings is rarely discussed. Based on local climate zone(LCZ) system, the research uses the combination of actual measurement and Energy Plus simulation to simulate and analyze the energy consumption of typical office building with the annual hourly air temperature and relative humidity of 14 typical spaces in Nangang District, Harbin City as the weather data. The results show that there are significant differences in cooling and heating energy consumption and hourly cooling and heating loads of buildings in different LCZ. The heating demand is significantly higher than the cooling demand. The total energy consumption of LCZA of dense forest region is the highest and that of LCZ2 of multi-layers with high density is the lowest. The impact of morphological characteristics on the typical daily cooling load in summer is greater than that of the typical daily heating load in winter; the annual heating energy consumption and total energy consumption are negatively correlated with the outdoor air temperature, and the annual cooling energy consumption has no linear correlation with the outdoor air temperature and relative humidity.
