Abstract:Objective To analyze the correlation between serum thyroid hormone and urinary microalbumin in patients with primary hypothyroidism. Methods A total of 102 patients with primary hypothyroidism admitted to the Suqian Hospital of Nanjing Gulou Hospital Group were selected from July 2020 to July 2021. Among them, 48 patients with elevated urinary microalbumin were set as abnormal group, and 54 patients with normal urinary microalbumin were set as normal group. Compared with the general data of the two groups, univariate analysis and Logistic multivariate regression analysis were performed for the factors affecting urinary microalbumin in the patients with primary hypothyroidism, and Pearson method was used to analyze the correlation between serum thyroid hormone and urinary microalbumin. Results Comparison of disease duration, whether combined diabetes and serum thyroid hormone levels between the two groups of patients, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05). Serum thyroid hormone was an independent factor influencing the increase of urinary microalbumin level in patients with primary hypothyroidism(OR=2.280, 2.307, P<0.05), and serum thyroid hormone level was significantly negatively correlated with urinary microalbumin level(r=-0.496,-0.266, P<0.05). Conclusion Serum thyroid hormone is closely related to urinary microalbumin in patients with primary hypothyroidism, and low serum thyroid hormone level is an independent risk factor for elevated urinary microalbumin.
