Message from the ISISE 2012 Symposium Chairs

Abstract:The 2012 International Symposium on Information Science and Engineering is co-sponsored by Shanghai Institute of Electronics,China; Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China; Fudan University, China; Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Russia; Feng Chia University, Taiwan; South China University of Technology, China; Henan Polytechnic University, China; Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, China; Nanchang Hang Kong University, China; Academy Publisher, Finland. This symposium is the 4th event starting from 2008. The goal of ISISE 2012 is to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and government to exchange their research ideas and results, and to discuss the state of the art in the many areas of security for electronic commerce. The symposium received 218 paper submissions from 7 countries and regions; every paper was reviewed by 2 program committee members; 105 papers have been selected as regular papers, representing a 48% acceptance rate for regular papers. From these 105 research papers, through two rounds of reviewing, the guest editors selected 30 papers as the excellent papers will be published by the special issues on Electronics and Electrical Engineering (Covered by ISI Science Citation Index, ISSN:1392-1215, Impact Factor:0.913), Computer Science and Information Systems (Covered by ISI Science Citation Index, ISSN 1820-0214, Impact Factor:0.625), International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems(ISSN: 1729-8806, Impact Factor:0.375), Journal of Computers (EI Compendex, ISSN 1796-203X), Journal of software (EI Compendex, ISSN 1796-217X), Journal of Multimedia (EI Compendex, ISSN 1796-2048), Journal of Networks (EI Compendex, ISSN 1796-2056).
