Abstract:Let G be a finite group and sigma = {sigma i|i is an element of I} be a partition of the set of all primes P, that is, P = U-i is an element of I sigma(i) and sigma(i)& cap;sigma(j) = empty set for all i &NOTEQUexpressionL; j. The natural numbers n and m are called sigma-coprime if sigma(n) & cap; sigma(m) = empty set . The group Gis said to be: sigma-primary if G is a sigma(i)-group for some i is an element of I; sigma-soluble if either G = 1 or every chief factor of G is sigma-primary. A subgroup H of G is called sigma-subnormal in G if there is a subgroup chain H = H-0 <= H-1 <= middotmiddotmiddot <= H-t = G such that either Hi-1 is normal in H-i or H-i/(Hi-1)H-i is sigma-primary for all i = 1, ..., t.In this paper, we show that G is sigma-soluble provided G satisfies the following conditions: (1) G = A(1)A(2) = A(1)A(3) = A(2)A(3), where A(1), A(2), A(3) are all sigma-soluble; (2) the three indices |G : N-G(A(1)(sigma)(N))|, |G : N-G(A(2)(sigma)(N))|, |G : N-G(A(3)(sigma)(N))| are pairwise sigma-coprime.And we prove that if G is sigma-soluble and A is a subgroup of G, then A is sigma- subnormal in G if and only if |AB|(sigma i) divides |G|sigma i for every Hall sigma(i)-subgroup B of G and all sigma(i) is an element of sigma (G). We also state and prove a sigma-nilpotency criterion for G anda characterization of the sigma-Fitting subgroup of G, which are related to this observation.
