Abstract:We calculate the Yukawa corrections of order $O(\alpha_{{\mathrm{ew}}}m_{t(b)}^{2}/m_{W}^{2})$ to charged Higgs boson production in association with a top quark at the Tevatron and the LHC. The corrections are not very sensitive to the mass of the charged Higgs boson and can exceed $-20\%$ for low values of $\tan\beta$, where the contribution of the top quark is large, and high values of $\tan\beta$ where the contribution of the bottom quark becomes large. These Yukawa corrections could be significant for charged Higgs boson searches based on this production process, particularly at the LHC where the cross section is relatively large.

Abstract:We calculate the $O(\alpha m_t^2/m^2_W)$ corrections arising from diagrams involving the top-quark loops to the light neutral Higgs boson production via $q\bar q'\to WH$ at the Fermilab Tevatron in both the standard model and the minimal supersymmetric model. In contrast to the QCD correction which increases the tree-level cross section, the corrections imply a few percent reduction in the production cross section relative to the tree-leve results.

Abstract:The O(alpha m(t)(2)/m(w)(2)) Yukawa corrections to bottom quark pair production via photon-photon fusion in TeV e(+)e(-) colliders are calculated in both the general two-Higgs-doublet model and minimal supersymmetric model. We find that the corrections to the cross section of the subprocess gamma gamma-->b (b) over bar be a few percent. The corrections to the total cross section of the process e(+)e(-)-->gamma gamma-->b (b) over bar in the beamstrahlung photon fusion mode are rather small and can be ignored at the one-loop level; however, the corrections in the Compton backscattering photon fusion mode may approach 0.1% for favorable parameter values.

Abstract:We evaluate the supersymmetric QCD corrections to single top quark production via $q{q}^{\ensuremath{'}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}t\overline{b}$ at the Fermilab Tevatron in the minimal supersymmetric model. We find that within the allowed range of squark and gluino masses the supersymmetric QCD corrections can enhance the cross section by a few percent. The combined effects of SUSY QCD, SUSY EW, and the Yukawa couplings can exceed 10% for the smallest allowed $\mathrm{tan}\ensuremath{\beta}(\ensuremath{\simeq}0.25)$ but are only a few percent for $\mathrm{tan}\ensuremath{\beta}>1.$

Abstract:The supersymmetric QCD corrections to top quark pair production by qq annihilation in pp collisions are calculated in the minimal supersymmetric model. We consider effects of the mixing of the scalar top quarks on the corrections to the total tt production cross section at the Fermilab Tevatron. We found that such a correction is less sensitive to the squark mass and gluino mass than in the no-mixing case, and in both cases the corrections can exceed 10% even if we consider the recent CDF limit on squark and gluino masses.

Abstract:We present the calculations of the supersymmetric QCD corrections to the total cross sections for single top production at the Fermilab Tevatron and the CERN Large Hadron Collider in the minimal supersymmetric standard model. Our results show that, for the s-channel and t-channel, the supersymmetric QCD corrections are at most about 1%, but for the associated production process pp -> tW, the supersymmetric QCD corrections increase the total cross sections significantly, which can reach about 6% for most values of the parameters. Thus, the supersymmetric QCD corrections should be taken into consideration in future high precision experimental analyses for top physics.

Abstract:We calculate the Yukawa corrections of order O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(2)/m(W)(2)), O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(3)/m(W)(3)), and O(alpha(ew)m(t(b))(4)/m(W)(4)) to the widths of the decays (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+(h(0),H-0,A(0)) in the minimal supersymmetric standard model, and perform a detailed numerical analysis. We also compare the results with the ones presented in earlier literature, where the O(alpha(s)) supersymmetric (SUSY) QCD corrections to the same three decay processes have been calculated. Our numerical results show that, for the decays (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+h(0), (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+H-0, the Yukawa corrections are significant in most of the parameter range, and can reach approximately 10%; for the decay (t) over tilde (2)-->(t) over tilde (1)+A(0), the Yukawa corrections are smaller, only a few percent. The numerical calculations also show that using the running quark masses and the running trilinear coupling A(t), including the QCD, SUSY QCD, and SUSY-electroweak effects, and resumming all high order (tan beta)-enhanced effects, can vastly improve the convergence of the perturbation expansion. We also discuss the effects of the running of the Higgsino mass parameter mu on the corrections, and find that they are significant, too, especially for large tan beta.
Next-To-Leading Order Corrections to Single Top Quark Production and Decay at the Fermilab Tevatron: S-Channel Process

Abstract:We present a study of s-channel single top quark production at the upgraded Tevatron p (p) over bar collider, including the next-to-leading order (NLO) QCD corrections to the production and decay of the top quark. The modified narrow width approximation was adopted to preserve the spin of the top quark in its production and decay. We discuss the effect of the different O(alpha(s)) contributions on the inclusive cross section as well as various kinematical distributions after imposing the relevant cuts to select s-channel single top signal events. In particular, the O(alpha(s)) decay contribution, while small in size, has a significant impact on several distributions. With the help of the best-Jet algorithm to reconstruct the top quark, we demonstrate that it is possible to study kinematical and spin correlations in s-channel single top events. We furthermore compare top quark spin measurements in two different bases and show how NLO corrections have to be taken into consideration in searches for the Higgs boson through W+/- H associated production at the Tevatron.

Abstract:The electroweak corrections of order ${\cal O}(α_{\rm em} m^2_{t,b}/m^2_w)$ and ${\cal O}(α_{\rm em} m^3_{t,b}/m^3_w)$ to Higgs boson associated production with top quark pair are calculated at $e^+e^-$ colliders in the standard model (SM), the two-Higgs-doublet model (2HDM) and the minimal supersymmetric standard model (MSSM). These corrections are a few percent in general, and in the MSSM they can be over ten percent for favorable parameter values allowing by current precise experiments. The total cross sections including the electroweak corrections get their maximal near $\sqrt{s} = 700$GeV, and can reach 2.8 fb, 2.7 fb and 2.5 fb in the SM, the 2HDM and the MSSM, respectively.

Abstract:We calculate the leading electroweak corrections to the light neutral Higgs boson production via $q\bar q'\to WH$ at the Fermilab Tevatron in both the standard model and the minimal supersymmetric model, which arise from the top-quark and Higgs boson loop diagrams. We found that the leading electroweak corrections can exceed the QCD corrections for favorable values of the parameters in the MSSM, but such corrections are only about $-1% \sim -2%$ in the SM, which are much smaller than the QCD corrections. For the mass region of $90 < m_{h_0} < 120$ GeV, the leading electroweak corrections can reach -10% for large $\tan\beta$, and these corrections may be observable at a high luminosity Tevatron; at the least, new constraints on the $\tan\beta$ can be established.
