History,Current Situation and Prospects:A Study on the Construction and Development of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor in Domestic Academic Cicle

Abstract:As one of the six economic corridors in the n "Belt and Road" initiative,the "China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor" is based on the historical accumulation of economic and trade cooperation and cultural exchanges among China,Mongolia and Russia.Guided by today’s globalisation,regional and sub-regional cooperation theories and meeting the real development needs of China,Mongolia and Russia as well as the changes in the international situation,the sub-regional cooperation mechanism jointly set up by China,Mongolia and Russiahas strongly promoted political interaction,economic and trade cooperation and cultural integration among the three countries.It has been nine years since the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor was conceived,put forward and implemented,now in the seven key areas of cooperation,a "government-oriented,non-governmental participation", "government-led and market-guided" cooperation model has been formed,and presents Liaoning,Jilin,Heilongjiang and Inner Mongolia provinces（region） as the main part of local participation pattern.At present,the construction of the China-Mongolia-Russia economic corridor is still in its initial stage,and still faces many practical issues and problems in the specific promotion.In the future,in addition to promoting the deepening path of the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor itself,the possibility of building a "cultural and economic community of Northeast Asia" and even an "Asian community with a shared futurm" should be probed in the overall framework of sub-regional and regional cooperation proposed by China.
