Expert Consensus on Off-Label Drug Use of Shandong Province (2022 Edition): Part of Pediatric Drug Use

Abstract:Clinically, of f-label drug use（OLDU） in pediatrics is common. Neonates received more of f-label and/or unlicensed drugs than any other age children, and the proportion of pediatric OLDU was higher in intensive care unit（ICU）, neurology department, oncology department, rheumatology department and other departments, and the most common clinical drugs such as anti-infective drugs were used in OLDU. The Law on Medical Doctors of the People’s Republic of China stipulates the legal basis of OLDU. However,systematic and normative data are still lacking in the evidence-based evidence for OLDU, and the level of evidence for OLDU in children in the real world stands is low. The Expert Consensus on Of f-label Drug Use of Shandong Province（2022） provides information on OLDU of specifi c drugs and detailed evidencebased proofs according to the professional module classification and system classification, and offers recommendations, providing important references for clinical drug use.
