Abstract: In this paper, we obtain the desired noncommutative maximal inequalities of the truncated Calder\'on-Zygmund operators of non-convolution type acting on operator-valued $L_p$-functions for all $1<p<\infty$, answering a question left open in the previous work \cite{HLX}.

Abstract:We develop a technique of proving standard estimates in the setting of Laguerre function expansions of convolution type, which works for all admissible type multi-indices $\alpha$ in this context. This generalizes a simpler method existing in the literature, but being valid for a restricted range of $\alpha$. As an application, we prove that several fundamental operators in harmonic analysis of the Laguerre expansions, including maximal operators related to the heat and Poisson semigroups, Riesz transforms, Littlewood-Paley-Stein type square functions and multipliers of Laplace and Laplace-Stieltjes transforms type, are (vector-valued) Calderón-Zygmund operators in the sense of the associated space of homogeneous type.

A noncommutative maximal inequality for Fejér means on totally disconnected non-abelian groups

Abstract:In this paper, we explore Fourier analysis for noncommutative $L_p$ space-valued functions on $G$, where $G$ is a totally disconnected non-abelian compact group. By additionally assuming that the value of these functions remains invariant within each conjugacy class, we establish a noncommutative maximal inequality for Fejér means utilizing the associated character system of $G$. This is an operator-valued version of the classical result due to Gát. We follow essentially the classical sketch, but due to the noncommutativity, many classical arguments have to be revised. Notably, compared to the classical results. the bounds of our estimates are explicity calculated.

Abstract:We consider local "complementary" generalized Morrey spaces ${\dual \cal M}_{\{x_0\}}^{p(\cdot),\om}(\Om)$ in which the $p$-means of function are controlled over $\Om\backslash B(x_0,r)$ instead of $B(x_0,r)$, where $\Om \subset \Rn$ is a bounded open set, $p(x)$ is a variable exponent, and no monotonicity type conditio is imposed onto the function $\om(r)$ defining the "complementary" Morrey-type norm. In the case where $\om$ is a power function, we reveal the relation of these spaces to weighted Lebesgue spaces. In the general case we prove the boundedness of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal operator and Calderon-Zygmund singular operators with standard kernel, in such spaces. We also prove a Sobolev type ${\dual \cal M}_{\{x_0\}}^{p(\cdot),\om} (\Om)\rightarrow {\dual \cal M}_{\{x_0\}}^{q(\cdot),\om} (\Om)$-theorem for the potential operators $I^{\al(\cdot)},$ also of variable order. In all the cases the conditions for the boundedness are given it terms of Zygmund-type integral inequalities on $\om(r)$, which do not assume any assumption on monotonicity of $\om(r)$.

Potential trace inequalities via a Calderón-type theorem

Abstract:We establish an approach to trace inequalities for potential-type operators based on an appropriate modification of an interpolation theorem due to Calderón. We develop a general theoretical tool for establishing boundedness of notoriously difficult operators (such as potentials) on certain specific types of rearrangement-invariant function spaces from analogous properties of operators that are easier to handle (such as fractional maximal operators). The key ingredient for the development of the theory is the initial pair of endpoint estimates for the easier operator whose pivotal example is based on a two-weight inequality of Sawyer. Among various applications we obtain a generalization of the celebrated trace inequality involving the Riesz potential and the Hausdorff content by Korobkov and Kristensen.

Calderón can be extended to the vector-valued setting and then we apply this extension to vector-valued inequalities for the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function to prove the vector-valued strong type $L^p$ norm inequalities for $1<p<\infty$ and the vector-valued weak type $(1,1)$ inequality for ergodic maximal function.

Abstract:We prove fine higher regularity results of Calderón-Zygmund-type for equations involving nonlocal operators modelled on the fractional $p$-Laplacian with possibly discontinuous coefficients of VMO-type. We accomplish this by establishing precise pointwise bounds in terms of certain fractional sharp maximal functions. This approach is new already in the linear setting and enables us to deduce sharp regularity results also in borderline cases.

Abstract:Let $L=-\Delta +|x|^2$ be the Hermite operator on $\mathbb{R}^n$, and $T$ be a Calderón-Zygmund type operator that is modelled on certain singular integrals related to $L$. We establish necessary and sufficient conditions for $T$ to be bounded on various function spaces including the Hardy spaces and the Lipschitz spaces associated to $L$. We then apply our results to study the boundedness of the Riesz transforms and pseudo-multipliers associated to $L$.

Abstract:In this paper, we study the necessary and sufficient conditions for the quantitative weighted bounds of the Calderón type commutator for the Littlewood–Paley operator. Let be the Calderón type commutator for the Littlewood–Paley operator where is homogeneous of degree zero and satisfies the cancellation condition on the unit sphere, and . More precisely, for the sufficiency, we use a new operator . Through the Calderón–Zygmund decomposition and the grand maximal operator of weak type (1,1), we establish a sparse domination of . And then applying the interpolation theorem with change of measures and the relationship between the operators and , we get the weighted bounds of the Calderón type commutators for the Littlewood–Paley operator . In addition, for the necessity, through the local mean oscillation, we obtain Lip-type characterizations of via the weighted bounds of the Calderón type commutators for the Littlewood–Paley operator.

Abstract:In this paper, we establish the quantitative mean ergodic theorems for two subclasses of power bounded operators on a fixed noncommutative L p space with 1 < p < ∞ , which mainly concerns power bounded invertible operators and Lamperti contractions. Our approach to the quantitative ergodic theorems relies on noncommutative square function inequalities. The establishment of the latter involves several new ingredients such as the almost orthogonality and Calderón-Zygmund arguments for non-smooth kernels from semi-commutative harmonic analysis, the extension properties of the operators under consideration from operator theory, and a noncommutative version of the classical transference method due to Coifman and Weiss.

Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to establish a necessary and sufficient condition for the boundedness of product Calderón–Zygmund singular integral operators introduced by Journé on the product Lipschitz spaces. The key idea used in this paper is to develop the Littlewood–Paley theory for the product spaces which includes the characterization of a special product Besov space and a density argument for the product Lipschitz spaces in the weak sense.

Abstract:In this paper we introduce some new weighted maximal operators of the partial sums of the Walsh-Fourier series. We prove that for some "optimal" weights these new operators indeed are bounded from the martingale Hardy space $H_{p}$ to the Lebesgue space $\text{weak}-L_{p},$ for $0<p<1.$ Moreover, we also prove sharpness of this result.

Annealed Calderón-Zygmund estimates for elliptic operators with random coefficients on $C^{1}$ domains

Abstract:Concerned with elliptic operators with stationary random coefficients governed by linear or nonlinear mixing conditions and bounded (or unbounded) $C^1$ domains, this paper mainly studies (weighted) annealed Calderón-Zygmund estimates, some of which are new even in a periodic setting. Stronger than some classical results derived by a perturbation argument in the deterministic case, our results own a scaling-invariant property, which additionally requires the non-perturbation method (based upon a quantitative homogenization theory and a set of functional analysis techniques) recently developed by M. Joisen and F. Otto \cite{Josien-Otto22}. To handle boundary estimates in certain UMD (unconditional martingale differences) spaces, we hand them over to Shen's real arguments \cite{Shen05, Shen23} instead of using Mikhlin's theorem. As a by-product, we also established ``resolvent estimates''. The potentially attractive part is to show how the two powerful kernel-free methods work together to make the results clean and robust.

Abstract:We study an alternative definition of the $H_1$-space associated to a semicommutative von Neumann algebra $L_\infty(\mathbb{R}) \overline{\otimes} \mathcal{M}$, first studied by Mei. We identify a "new" description for atoms in $H_1$. We then explain how they can be used to study $H_1^c$-$L_1$ endpoint estimates for Calderón-Zygmund operators with noncommuting kernels.

Abstract:Let $(X,d,\mu)$ be a metric space with doubling measure and $L$ be a nonnegative self-adjoint operator on $L^2(X)$ whose heat kernel satisfies the Gaussian upper bound. We assume that there exists an $L$-harmonic function $h$ such that the semigroup $\exp(-tL)$, after applying the Doob transform related to $h$, satisfies the upper and lower Gaussian estimates. In this paper we apply the Doob transform and some techniques as in Grafakos-Honzík-Seeger \cite{GHS2006} to obtain an optimal $\sqrt{\log(1+N)}$ bound in $L^p$ for the maximal function $\sup_{1\leq i\leq N}|m_i(L)f|$ for multipliers $m_i,1\leq i\leq N,$ with uniform estimates. Based on this, we establish sufficient conditions on the bounded Borel function $m$ such that the maximal function $M_{m,L}f(x) = \sup_{t>0} |m(tL)f(x)|$ is bounded on $L^p(X)$. The applications include Schrödinger operators with inverse square potential, Scattering operators, Bessel operators and Laplace-Beltrami operators.
