Abstract:Distributed cooperative control has attracted increasing attention in the operation of microgrids because of its flexibility, reliability, and high efficiency. However, the traditional distributed secondary cooperative controller relies heavily on continuous communication among controllers, which is neither practical nor economical. Furthermore, the convergence speed of the traditional event-triggered secondary cooperative controller is asymptotic and there is significant transient overshoot, which cannot meet the safety requirement of practical systems. For this reason, this paper proposes an event-triggered distributed secondary cooperative control strategy with input saturation and finite-time consistency. When applying the event-triggered mechanism, the communication rate is reduced, where only communications at special time sequences are required. Moreover, a finite-time convergence performance is achieved, which improves the convergence speed. And the input saturation applies to suppress the transient overshoot. Finally, simulation analysis based on MATLAB/Simulink with an islanded microgrid test system under various conditions shows the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed control.
