Research progress of C-reactive protein and albumin related immune-nutrition parameters in lung cancer

Abstract:C-reactive protein, as an acute protein, is one of the most commonly used markers of inflammation.Albumin, the most important protein in human plasma, is considered to be an important indicator for evaluating the nutritional status of patients.The tumor microenvironment is considered to be another feature of cancer with the development of cancer metabolism.As critical parameters for inflammation and nutrition, C-reactive protein and albumin are important contents of the tumor microenvironment, and it are inseparably related with the occurrence, development and prognosis of tumors.Lung cancer is still the most common cause of cancer and cancer death in China, it remains difficult to estimate the prognosis of patients despite of the rapid development of targeted therapies.The relations between C-reactive protein, albumin and tumor are summarized here, and its role in lung cancer research is discussed.
