Abstract:In this paper, circuit implementation and anti-synchronization are studied in coupled nonidentical fractional-order chaotic systems where a fractance module is introduced to approximate the fractional derivative. Based on the open-plus-closed-loop control, a nonlinear coupling strategy is designed to realize the anti-synchronization in the fractional-order Rucklidge chaotic systems and proved by the stability theory of fractional-order differential equations. In addition, using the frequency-domain approximation and circuit theory in the Laplace domain, the corresponding electronic circuit experiments are performed for both uncoupled and coupled fractional-order Rucklidge systems. Finally, our circuit implementation including the fractance module may provide an effective method for generating chaotic encrypted signals, which could be applied to secure communication and data encryption.

Abstract:This paper studies the chaotic behaviours of the fractional-order unified chaotic system. Based on the approxima- tion method in frequency domain, it proposes an electronic circuit model of tree shape to realize the fractional-order operator. According to the tree shape model, an electronic circuit is designed to realize the 2.7-order unified chaotic system. Numerical simulations and circuit experiments have verified the existence of chaos in the fraction-order unified system.

Abstract:In this paper, applying frequency domain techniques based on Bode diagram, fractional-order Liu chaotic system is studied. An electronic circuit unit of tree shape is designed to realize the fractional-order chaotic Liu system. Circuit experiment of 2.7-order Liu system, as well as simulation results of fractional-order Liu chaotic system with α=0.8—0.1 in step size of 0.1， verify the circuit unit's effectiveness, and prove that chaos actually exists in the fractional-order Liu chaotic system with order as low as 0.3. A simple, but effective linear feedback controller is designed to realize the chaotic control of fractional-order Liu chaotic system.

Abstract:To study the performances of Fractional-order chaotic system and its applications,a circuit simulation and design method of fractional-order chaotic systems were investigated based on the definition of fractional-order calculus operator.By designing the simulation model of the fractional-order integral operator and setting up simulation circuit of the fractional-order chaotic system,the simulations and analysis of fractional-order chaotic system were carried out.By simulating,the evolving process of system variable is observing,and the dynamics performances are analyzed conveniently by.The simulation results of the fractional-order diffusionless Lorenz system on EWB and its circuit complementation show that the circuit simulation and design approach are effective.

Abstract:In this paper,a new fractional-order four dimensional system is firstly investigated numerically by using frequency domain technique.Based on the stability theory of the fractional-order system,a linear feedback controller is designed to make full states of the fractional order system to track control all kinds of signals,including chaotic signals and non-chaotic signals.Here sinusoidal waves,arbitrarily fixed point and Qi chaotic system are chosen as examples.The technique provides a foundation for the application of chaotic system in secure communications.In addition,the electronic circuits are designed to realize the tracking control for this novel fractional system using Multisim10.The results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Abstract:According to the fractional order calculus and frequency-domain approximation method, three types of electronic unit circuits of the fractional-order 1/sα with α=0.80-0.99 in steps of 0.01 are first given, the corresponding values of resistance and capacitance are presented. These electronic unit circuits are applied to a novel fourth dimensional fractional-order chaotic system where the dynamical behaviors are investigated in this paper. The experimental results verified the effectiveness of the equivalent circuits.

Abstract:Switchable chaotic systems are more suitable for applying in chaotic secure communication because of having more complex nonlinear dynamic characteristics. A switching method and its switching circuit for different fractional-order system are proposed in this paper. Through an analog switch control, the circuit can realize the switching of two different chaotic systems, which are 0.8-order and 0.9-order systems, respectively. The circuit provides more options for the application of chaos to practical engineering.

Abstract:A fractional-order hyperchaotic system was proposed and some basic dynamical properties were investigated to show chaotic behavior. These properties include instability of equilibria, sensitivity to initial conditions, strange attractor, Lyapunov exponents, and bifurcation. The fractional-order system presents hyperchaos, chaos, and periodic behavior when the parameters vary continuously. Then, an analog circuit is designed onMultisim 11and the Multisim results are agreed with the simulation results.

Abstract:In this paper, a new three-dimensional autonomous fractional-order chaotic system is presented. There are four different nonlinear terms in the governed equations. By means of theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, some basic dynamical properties, such as phase diagrams, bifurcation diagram, Lyapunov exponents spectrum and chaos diagram of the new fractional-order chaotic system are investigated. Then, we completed the circuit design of the fractional-order chaotic system, and realized the analog hardware circuit. Both the hardware experiment results and circuit simulation results are agreed well with those of numerical simulation. Finally, based on the theory of sliding-mode control and the fractional stability theory, a suitable sliding mode controller is designed for the novel three-dimensional fractional-order chaotic system. Numerical simulations are provided to verify the effectiveness of the proposed synchronization scheme.

Abstract:A new fractional-order chaotic system is proposed in this paper, and a list of state trajectories is presented with fractional derivative of different areas. Furthermore, a circuit diagram is studied to realize the fractional-order chaotic system. The new fractional-order chaotic system can be controlled to reach synchronization based on the nonlinear control theory, and the results between numerical emulation and circuit simulation are in agreement with each other.

Abstract:This paper presents a novel 3D fractional-ordered chaotic system. The dynamical behavior of this system is investigated. An analog circuit diagram is designed for generating strange attractors. Results have been observed using Electronic Workbench Multisim software, they demonstrate that the fractional-ordered nonlinear chaotic attractors exist in this new system. Moreover, they agree very well with those obtained by numerical simulations.

Abstract:In order to enhance complexity of chaotic systems,this paper proposes a new fractional chaotic system and introduces two analytical methods of fractional calculus.Numerical simulation adopts a method to solve fractional calculus in time domain,Circuit simulation adopts the method of conversion between time domain and frequency domain.The simulation results show that the minimum order of the system is 2.31 when the system exhibits chaotic behaviors.Then a fractional chaotic oscillating circuit for implementing the system is designed and simulated.Circuit simulation results show a good qualitative agreement between the circuit and numerical simulations.The feasibility of the signal generator is confirmed.

Abstract:A novel nonlinear four-dimensional hyperchaotic system and its fractional-order form are presented. Some dynamical behaviors of this system are further investigated, including Poincare mapping, parameter phase portraits, equilibrium points, bifurcations, and calculated Lyapunov exponents. A simple fourth-channel block circuit diagram is designed for generating strange attractors of this dynamical system. Specifically, a novel network module fractance is introduced to achieve fractional-order circuit diagram for hardware implementation of the fractional attractors of this nonlinear hyperchaotic system with order as low as 0.9. Observation results have been observed by using oscilloscope which demonstrate that the fractional-order nonlinear hyperchaotic attractors exist indeed in this new system.

Abstract:In this paper we propose a novel four-dimensional fractional order hyperchaotic system derived from a Liu system. Electronics workbench (EWB) and Matlab simulations show the dynamical behavior of the proposed four-dimensional fractional order hyperchaotic system. Finally, after separately using EWB and Matlab, an electronic circuit is designed to realize the novel four-dimensional fractional order hyperchaotic system and the experimental circuit results are obtained which are identical to software simulations.
