Abstract:Urban Green-blue-grey infrastructure (GBGI) provides a wide range of functions due toits diversified composition and internal combination logic. Green infrastructure (GNI), blue infrastructure (BI) and grey infrastructure (GYI) generally coexist in cities but are seldom investigated for their integrated impacts on LST (land surface temperature. This paper divided highly urbanized area in Wuhan into 10 scales of 50–1600 m grids. The characteristics of GBGI were calculated at different scales, which include area proportion (AP), plot ratio (PR), component area proportion (CAP) and landscape fragmentation index (LFI). The effects of single and multiple characteristics of GBGI on LST were analyzed by correlation test and multiple regression equation, respectively. Firstly, GYI_AP and BI_AP have more significant impacts on LST at larger scales, while GNI_AP has more significant impacts at smaller scales. Secondly, the effect of PR on LST at different scales is generally consistent with AP, but slightly stronger than AP in GNI and BI. Notably, increasing GYI_AP at smaller scales would result in a higher LST than increasing GYI_PR. Thirdly, a more concentrated layout of GNI (especially woodland and shrub) at large scales has more significant cooling effects. Fourthly, by adjusted R2 of multiple regression models to predict LST, it is found that integrated effects of GBGI characteristics on LST follows the order of CAP > PR > AP, and increases with scale. Then, according to the decision scenarios in urban planning, the cooling effects of GBGI combined in 12 scenarios were determined and compared. Finally, some strategies were proposed to facilitate urban planning to mitigate heat island effect.
