Therefore, multitrace inversion generally accepted in recent years. However, due to the diversity of sources of seismic data, the actual noise is hard to meet the prior assumption of Gaussian distribution. The irrationality of the priori assumption of noise will affect the suppression effect of the algorithm on the noise. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposed a new multi-trace inversion method with adaptive mixed norm seismic impedance under the multitrace impedance inversion framework. This method is not only maintaining the continuity of stratigraphic features, but also improving the suppression effect of the inversion algorithm on the seismic data noise. However, when the number of seismic traces are numerous, multitrace inversion requires a large amount of time and storage space to solve the large-scale matrix inverse problem, which seriously hampers the practical application of multitrace inversion algorithm. Therefore, this paper introduces a fast algorithm called blocky coordinate descent (BCD) to solve the multitrace inversion equation of adaptive mixed norm seismic impedance, which effectively increases the computational efficiency of the algorithm and its applicability to the actual seismic data. This fast adaptive mixed norm multitrace impedance inversion method is applying at the synthetic data, which shows that the proposed method has a better suppression effect on mixed noise and a greater improvement on the solution efficiency. Finally, it is applying in the actual shale gas area, which greatly improves the inversion effect and computational efficiency compared with the conventional method.
