Abstract:With the development of smart transportation, the prediction of traffic risk attracts increasingly research interesting. The accurate prediction of traffic risk can reduce and prevent the traffic accidents, which it is of great practical significance to improve traffic safety. In this paper, we propose to establish a road traffic accident prediction model to predict the traffic risk with the Bayesian network. In this model, the comprehensive attributes of traffic accidents are considered, and thus different types of the traffic accidents can be predicted with Bayesian network. Experimental results show that the possibility of accidents can be predicted by calculating the proposed prediction method.

On Prediction Method of Traffic Risks with the Bayesian Network in Smart Transportation
