Abstract:Objective To investigate the preventing effect on mice's skin photoaging of COX-2 selective inhibitor,NS398.Methods In this experiment,we used 8-MOP and UVA to act on the skin of mice back to set up an animal model of skin photoaging.Injected NS398 to the dermis of mice back to intervene the process of skin photoaging.The expression of TIMP-1,P53 and PCNA,the changes of skin structure and elastic fiber were determined with immunohisochemistry,HE strains and elastic fibre strains.Results Treatment with NS398 prevented the increase of P53 and the decrease of TIMP-1 PCNA protein. NS398 could also inhibit the senescence-associated changes of skin structure and elastic fiber.Conclusion NS398 can prevent mice's skin photoaging.It may provide a new way to prevent skin photoaging.
