Abstract:We derive the generalized dromions of the (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equations besides the basic dromion solutions by suitably utilising the arbitrary function in the bilinearized equations. The rich dromion structures for this system are revealed.

Abstract:A variable separation approach is used to obtain localized coherent structures in a generalized (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger system. Applying a special Bäcklund transformation and introducing arbitrary functions of the seed solutions, the abundance of the localized structures of this system are derived. By selecting the arbitrary functions appropriately, some special types of localized exitations such as dromions, dromion lattice, peakons, breathers and instantons are constructed.

Abstract:The (3+1)-dimensional double sine-Gordon equation plays a crucial role in various physical phenomena, including nonlinear wave propagation, field theory, and condensed matter physics. However, obtaining exact solutions to this equation faces significant challenges. In this article, we successfully employ a modified -expansion and improved -expansion methods to construct new analytical solutions to the double sine-Gordon equation. These solutions can be divided into four categories like trigonometric function solutions, hyperbolic function solutions, exponential solutions, and rational solutions. Our key findings include a rich spectrum of soliton solutions, encompassing bright, dark, singular, periodic, and mixed types, showcasing the (3+1)-dimensional double sine-Gordon equation ability to model diverse wave behaviors. We uncover previously unreported complex wave structures, revealing the potential for complex nonlinear interactions within the (3+1)-dimensional double sine-Gordon equation framework. We demonstrate the modified -expansion and improved -expansion methods effectiveness in handling higher-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equations, expanding their applicability in mathematical physics. These method offers enhanced flexibility and broader solution categories compared to conventional approaches.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate solutions of a (2+1)-dimensional sinh-Gordon equation. General solitons and (semi-)rational solutions are derived by the combination of Hirota’s bilinear method and Kadomtsev-Petviashvili hierarchy reduction approach. General solutions are expressed as N× N Gram-type determinants. When the determinant size N is even, we generate solitons, line breathers, and (semi-)rational solutions located on constant backgrounds. In particular, through the asymptotic analysis we prove that the collision of solitons are completely elastic. When N is odd, we derive exact solutions on periodic backgrounds. The dynamical behaviors of those derived solutions are analyzed with plots. For rational solutions, we display the interaction of lumps. For semi-rational solutions, we find the interaction solutions between lumps and solitons.

Abstract:Abstract We present exact solutions for new (3+1)-dimensional nonlinear equations of wave propagation and fluids. We use the tanh/sech method combined with a computer symbolic system for a reliable treatment of this work. We determine a variety of exact solutions for each equation that contains soliton, kink and periodic solutions. The constraints that guarantee the existence of soliton and kink solutions were examined and found to be related to the coefficients k , r and s of the space variables x , y , and z respectively.

Abstract:Multiple elliptic equation method is presented for constructing travelling wave Solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. The main idea of this method is to take full advantage of the elliptic equations. New exact solutions are obtained for the (3+1)-dimensional sine-Gordon equation, which contain Jacobi elliptic functions, hyperbolic functions and trigonometric functions.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear generalized Schrödinger equation is studied. The exact expressions of the traveling wave solution and the optical soliton solution of the model are obtained by mathematical method. For the special soliton solutions, we use ansatz method to obtain specific bright and dark soliton solutions and their existence constraints. The dynamic behaviors of all kinds of exact solutions are discussed by numerical simulation. In addition, MI analysis was used to evaluate the stability of the equations.

Abstract:In this paper we use an analytical-numerical approach to find, in a systematic way, new 1-soliton solutions for a discrete sine-Gordon system in one spatial dimension. Since the spatial domain is unbounded, the numerical scheme employed to generate these soliton solutions is based on the artificial boundary method. A large selection of numerical examples provides much insight into the possible shapes of these new 1-solitons.

Abstract:<p>In this paper, a (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with variable coefficients is studied. Base on the symmetry of the equation, we rotate the original coordinate for 45 degrees to get a simple one in the new coordinate. This method is quite easy to compare with solving it directly, and it is never been used before. By the Hirota method with an auxiliary function, the soliton solutions are derived. We revealed the structures between soliton interaction and discussed the interaction properties: Influences of the coefficients and wave numbers on interaction shapes of solitons are presented, i.e. parabolic, cubic, quasi-periodical, and polyline solitons are presented; Solitonic amplitudes are inversely proportional to the wave numbers. Besides, if the coefficients small enough, two-soliton solutions are degenerate into two parallel solitons; Soliton solutions do not only depend on the wave numbers, but also affected by the coefficients; To demonstrate those soliton solutions, we propose different methods to control those parameters, we also discuss a new form and draw some good conclusions. In the end, bound-state solitons are obtained.</p>

Abstract:In this article, our main purpose was to study the soliton solutions of conformal time derivative generalized $ q $-deformed sinh-Gordon equation. New soliton solutions have been obtained by the complete discrimination system for the polynomial method. The solutions we obtained mainly included hyperbolic function solutions, solitary wave solutions, Jacobi elliptic function solutions, trigonometric function solutions and rational function solutions. The results showed abundant traveling wave patterns of conformal time derivative generalized $ q $-deformed sinh-Gordon equation.

Abstract:The double elliptic equation method is presented for constructing exact traveling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations. With the aid of Maple, more new exact solutions are obtained for the (n+1)-dimensional sinh-Gordon equation. These solutions contain logarithmic functions, Jacobi elliptic functions, hyperbolic functions, trigonometric functions, and their combinations.

Abstract:In this paper, we study a Generalized (2+1)-dimensional Boussinesq-type equation. Using the Hirota bilinear method, we present the N -order bright soliton solutions and dark soliton solutions. For the one-soliton solution, the bright soliton solution and the dark soliton solution share the same limit line but have different extreme values. Building on the soliton solutions, we derive higher-order bright and dark breather solutions as well as mixed solutions. The dynamic behavior is characterized using visual representations. Furthermore, through the long-wave limit method, we obtain the bright and dark lump solutions. Notably, they share the same extreme points but have different extreme values. Additionally, we derive two semi-rational solutions as lump-soliton and lump-breather. It is found that the lump moves along the peak amplitude of the soliton wave.

Abstract:For an exponentially position-dependent mass, we obtain the exact solutions of the three-dimensional Schrödinger equation by using coordinate transformation method for the reference problems with Coulomb potential, Kratzer potential, and spherically square potential well of infinite depth, respectively. The explicit expressions for the energy eigenvalues and the corresponding eigenfunctions of the three systems are presented.

Abstract:In this paper, we investigate the fourth‐order nonlinear Schrödinger equation with parameterized nonlinearity that is generalized from regular cubic‐quintic formulation in optics and ultracold physics scenario. We find the exact solution of the fourth‐order generalized cubic‐quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation through modified F‐expansion method, identifying the particular bright soliton behavior under certain external experimental setting, with the system's particular nonlinear features demonstrated. This paper investigates different kinds of exact solutions of variable-coefficients Chiral Schrödinger equation [math]. In this equation, the fractional quantum Hall effect edge states are described. By the unified method, we successfully get the soliton, solitary and elliptic wave solutions. Through the [math]-expansion and the exponential expansion methods, we acquire different traveling wave solutions. Using the extended [math]-expansion method, we attain the Jacobi elliptic function solutions. So as to get more physical information about the exact solutions of VCCNLSE, [math], density and contour maps are described.

Abstract:Deriving exact solutions of nonlinear evolution equations has recently received tremendous attention in mathematics and physics. In this paper, using the (G′∕G)-expansion method, we obtain some exact solutions for a coupled discrete nonlinear Schrödinger system with a saturation nonlinearity. These exact solutions include the hyperbolic function type, trigonometric function type and rational function type, of which the hyperbolic function type solutions may generate kink and anti-kink solitons.

Abstract:This study examines the analytic wave solutions of a fourth-order (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear Schrödinger equation with higher-order odd and even terms using the modified Sardar sub-equation method. The modified Sardar sub-equation method has simple calculations, high accuracy, low computational effort and provides variety of solution forms. The results show a wide range of solutions including bright, dark and singular solitons as well as hyperbolic, periodic, singular periodic, and exponential solutions. Assigning suitable values to free parameters allows for the graphic representation of the dynamical wave structures of some analytical solutions using two- and three-dimensional graphics.

Abstract:Investigated in this paper is the generalized nonlinear Schrodinger equation with radial symmetry. With the help of symbolic computation, the one-, two-, and N-soliton solutions are obtained through the bilinear method. Backlund transformation in the bilinear form is presented, through which a new solution is constructed. Graphically, we have found that the solitons are symmetric about x=0, while the soliton pulse width and amplitude will change along with the distance and time during the propagation.

Abstract:Due to the importance of the nonlinear partial differential equations in applied physics, many mathematicians and physicists are interesting to the nonlinear partial differential equations. One of the main tasks of studying the nonlinear partial differential equations is to obtain the exact solutions for the nonlinear partial differential equations. In this paper, we study the exact solutions of a generalized (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equation. According to the modified hyperbolic function method and the traveling transformation method, the generalized (2+1)-dimensional nonlinear partial differential equation is changed into an ordinary differential equation. By taking the homogeneous balance between the highest order nonlinear terms and the derivatives of the highest order, we change the differential equation into an algebraic system. By solving the algebraic system, we obtain the solutions for the nonlinear partial differential equation. At last, some solutions and their figures are given by specific parameters. All the solutions conclude the triangle function solutions, the positive hyperbolic function solutions, and the hyperbolic triangle function solutions. These solutions exhibit the dynamics of nonlinear waves and the solutions are useful for the study on interaction behavior of nonlinear waves in shallow water, plasma, nonlinear optics and Bose–Einstein condensates.
