Abstract:In this paper, a Wilkinson power divider with dual coupled lines and open stubs is presented for dual-band application. Two coupled lines with different even and odd-mode characteristic impedances are inserted between input and output ports to compact the circuit size. An open stub pair is connected to the input port to provide a compensation. The lumped isolation resistor is connected between the two coupled lines. Based on the even- and odd-mode analysis, parameters are newly derived and summarized. The experimental results are also presented to verify the design.
