Abstract:Two-species prey-predator diffusion models with periodic coefficients and continuous time delays are investigated. We derive sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of positive periodic solutions which are globally asymptotically stable.

Abstract:In this paper, the nonlinear nonautonomous predator-prey model with impulsive effect is considered. By using the method of coincidence degree theorem, a set of easily verifiable sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of at least one strictly positive periodic solution, and by the means of a suitable Lyapunov function, the uniqueness and global attractivity of positive periodic solution are presented. An example shows the feasibility of our main results.

Abstract:This paper is concerned with a predator–prey model with Hassell–Varley type functional response, non-selective harvesting and multiple delays. Some new sufficient conditions are obtained for the existence of positive periodic solutions by applying the coincidence degree theorem. In addition, the results are delay-dependent, which is different from the previous work. Finally, simulations illustrate the effectiveness of our results.

Abstract:In this paper, a class of three species predator-prey system with discrete time delays is considered. With the help of differential equations with piecewise constant arguments, we first propose the discrete analogue of a continuous three species predator-prey system with discrete time delays. Then, a easily verifiable sufficient condition for the existence of positive solutions of difference equations is obtained. The approach used in the paper is the coincidence degree and the related continuation theorem as well as some priori estimations.

Abstract:In this paper, a nonautonomous diffusion predator-prey model with functional response and continuous time delay is studied, where the prey can diffuse between two patches of a heterogeneous environment with barriers between patches,but for the predator, the diffusion does not involve a barrier between patches, further it is assumed that all the parameters are time-dependent. It is shown that the system can be made persistent under some appropriate conditions. Moreover, sufficient conditions that guarantee the existence of a unique periodic solution which is globlly asymptotic stable are derived.

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a biological model for two predators and one prey with periodic delays. Abstract:By re-estimating the upper bound of ∫0ωeui(t)dt (i=1,2), we generalize a result about the existence of a positive periodic solution for a two-species nonautonomous patchy competition system with time delay. Based on that system, we consider the impulsive harvesting and stocking, and establish a two-species nonautonomous competition Lotka–Volterra system with diffusion and impulsive effects. With the continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we obtain the existence of a positive periodic solution for such a system. At last, two examples are given to demonstrate our results.

Abstract:In this paper, using the Gaines and Mawhin,s continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory on time scales, the existence of periodic solutions for a two-prey one-predator system is studied. Some sufficient conditions for the existence of positive periodic solutions are obtained. The results provide unified existence theorems of periodic solution for the continuous differential equations and discrete difference equations.
