Abstract:Objective:To analyze the clinical effect of transurethral holmium laser resection for non-muscular invasive bladder cancer. Methods:From January 2016 to January 2018, 83 cases of non-muscular invasive bladder cancer were treated by transurethral resection of bladder tumor, including 43 cases treated by transurethral holmium laser resection of bladder tumor and 40 cases treated by transurethral resection of bladder tumor (TURBT). The operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, obturator nerve reflex, bladder perforation and postoperative bladder flushing time were compared between the two groups, and the recurrence rate of one and two years after operation was compared. The recurrence rates of two groups were compared. Results:In holmium laser group, the time of operation, intraoperative hemorrhage and obturator nerve reflex were lower than those in TURBT group, the difference was statistically significant ( P<0.05). There was no statistical significance in the number of cases of bladder perforation between the two groups ( P>0.05). There was no statistical significance in the rate of tumor recurrence between the two groups ( P>0.05). Conclusions:Transurethral holmium laser resection for non-muscle invasive bladder cancer is not only effective, but also moresafely, which can be widely used in clinical practice.
