A Novel Architecture Design of Power Internet of Things Based on Huawei Internet of Things Platform

Abstract:Power Internet of Things (IoTs) can realize the access of the whole link equipment of power source, power grid, power load and energy storage in the energy Internet. At present, State Grid has deployed the Huawei IoT management platform to realize the standardized collection of data. However, the current IOTs management platform only realizes the access of MQTT protocol, and lacks the unified management capability for multi-source heterogeneous terminals. In this regard, this paper proposes a novel architecture design of power IoTs architecture. Focusing on the southbound device access and northbound device management of the IoTs management platform, a protocol analysis cloud gateway and a unified cloud edge collaboration architecture are proposed. In order to solve the problem of multi-protocol access, the protocol analysis cloud gateway deploys the parsing program in the form of plug-in in the protocol plug-in layer, which can be flexibly extended for new protocols. Aiming at the problem of device management, this paper proposes a unified cloud edge collaboration architecture, enhances the capabilities of remote management for application and container based on the northbound API interface of Huawei IoTs management platform, and proposes a method compatible with different edge computing frameworks on the edge side. At the same time, an experimental prototype system is built to realize the unified access to Q/GDW 1376, DL/T 698, IEC 101/104 and other types of protocol equipment, as well as the remote management of heterogeneous manufacturers' equipment.
