Abstract:With the rapid development of industry, the competition between enterprises is embodied in various aspects. Warehouse management as an important part in the supply chain has great potential, for good storage assignment can not only improve operation efficiency, but can also reduce the cost and improve the benefit. At present the storage assignment is often still in accordance with the experiences of managers. So this paper focuses on how to build a model. to optimize the storage assignment to improve the working efficiency. This paper takes L Corporation as the research object. After a long-term observation, some problems arise such as the irregular distribution of goods, the long picking route distance, the imperfect material information management and so on. This paper classifies the materials based on the frequency of the demand, and optimizes the storage assignment. After that, this paper improves the operation efficiency of material library by optimizing joint picking route.
