Abstract:Chinese traditional family culture has patriarchal clan, etiquette and custom, closure and altruism features. It is the cultural foundation of family-run management that is selected by the small and medium-sized enterprises at the inception. However, its closure and consanguinity nature impede scale enlargement, technical improvement and talent attraction of the enterprise. In the process of transforming to modernized enterprise management mode, the organization system theory of Barnard is very important. He puts forward three elements of organization: information communication, intention of contribution and common target. Chinese traditional family culture has uniformity with it essentially. In modernized management mode of the enterprise, Chinese traditional family culture cannot be absolutely denied, and it can be succeeded and developed through establishment of motivation and restriction mechanism, highlight of importance of managers and focus of spiritual cultural development of the enterprise.
