Abstract:The oscillation of a class of fourth-order nonlinear damped delay differential equations with distributed deviating arguments is the subject of this research. We propose a new explanation of the fourth-order equation oscillation in terms of the oscillation of a similar well-studied second-order linear differential equation without damping. The extended Riccati transformation, integral averaging approach, and comparison principles are used to provide some additional oscillatory criteria. An example demonstrates the efficacy of the acquired criteria.

Abstract:By establishing a new proper variational framework and using the critical point theory, we establish some new existence criteria to guarantee that the 2nth-order nonlinear difference equation containing both advance and retardation with p-Laplacian Delta(n)(r(t - n) Phi p(Delta(n)u(t - 1))) + q(t)Phi p (u(t)) = f (t,u(t + n),.,u(t),.,u(t - n)), n is an element of Z, has infinitely many homoclinic orbits, where Phi p(s) is p-Laplacian operator; Phi p(s) = |s|(p-2)s(1 < p < infinity) r, q, f are nonperiodic in t. Our conditions on the potential are rather relaxed, and some existing results in the literature are improved.

A qualitative study of the generalized dispersive systems with time-delay: The unbounded case

Abstract:We study the asymptotic behavior of the solutions of the time-delayed higher-order dispersive nonlinear differential equation \begin{equation*} u_t(x,t)+Au(x,t) +\lambda_0(x) u(x,t)+\lambda(x) u(x,t-\tau )=0 \end{equation*} where \begin{equation*} Au=(-1)^{j+1}\partial_x^{2j+1}u+(-1)^m\partial_x^{2m}u+ \frac{1}{p+1}\partial_xu^{p+1} \end{equation*} with $m\le j$ and $1\le p<2j$. Under suitable assumptions on the time delay coefficients, we prove that the system is exponentially stable if the coefficient of the delay term is bounded from below by a suitable positive constant, without any assumption on the sign of the coefficient of the undelayed feedback. Additionally, in the absence of delay, general results of stabilization are established in $H^s(\mathbb{R})$ for $s\in[0,2j+1]$. Our results generalize several previous theorems for the Korteweg-de Vries type delayed systems in the literature.

Abstract:This work addresses the qualitative analysis of a novel non-linear coupled system of fractional differential problems (FDPs) using Caputo and Liouville–Riemann fractional derivatives. Fractional calculus has demonstrated significant applicability across various fields, including financial systems, optimal control, epidemiological models, chaotic systems, and engineering. The proposed model builds on existing research by formulating a non-linear coupled fractional boundary value problem with mixed boundary conditions. The primary advantages of our method include its ability to capture the dynamics of complex systems more accurately and its flexibility in handling different types of fractional derivatives. The model's solution was derived using advanced mathematical techniques, and the results confirmed the existence and uniqueness of the solutions. This approach not only generalizes classical differential equation methods but also offers a robust framework for modeling real-world phenomena governed by fractional dynamics. The study concludes with the validation of the theoretical findings through illustrative examples, highlighting the method's efficacy and potential for further applications.

Abstract:Abstract In this paper, we describe a method to solve the problem of finding periodic solutions for second-order neutral delay-differential equations with piecewise constant arguments of the form x ′′( t ) + px ′′( t − 1) = qx ([ t ]) + f ( t ), where [⋅] denotes the greatest integer function, p and q are nonzero real or complex constants, and f ( t ) is complex valued periodic function. The method reduces the problem to a system of algebraic equations. We give explicit formula for the solutions of the equation. We also give counter examples to some previous findings concerning uniqueness of solution.

Abstract:Abstract The oscillation theory of differential equations is an important branch of performance of differential equations, which is widely used in engineering control, vibration mechanics, mechanics, and industry. Therefore, the vibration performance of different parts has attracted people’s attention, and a lot of research work has been done. For a special class of delay differential equations - advanced piecewise continuous differential equations, the oscillation of numerical solution is discussed. The θ − method is used to discretize the equation, and the numerical method is obtained to keep the oscillation of the analytical solution of the equation, progressive conditions. At the same time, four different states of the dynamic behavior are discussed in detail for the analytical solution and the numerical solution respectively. Some numerical examples further verify the corresponding conclusions.
Equivalent Systems for Differential Equations with Polynomially Distributed Delay

Abstract:We consider delay differential equations with a polynomially distributed delay. We derive an equivalent system of delay differential equations, which includes just two discrete delays. The stability of the equivalent system and its stationary solutions are investigated. Alternatively, a Gaussian quadrature generates a discretisation of the integral, which describes the distributed delay in the original delay differential equation. This technique yields an approximate differential equation with multiple discrete delays. We present results of numerical computations, where initial value problems of the differential equations are solved. Therein, the two approaches are compared.

Abstract:In the sense of an arbitrary time scale, some new sufficient conditions on oscillation are presented in this paper for a class of nonlinear third-order delay dynamic equations involving a local fractional derivative with a super-linear neutral term. The established oscillation results include known Kamenev and Philos-type oscillation criteria and are new oscillation results so far in the literature. Some inequalities, the Riccati transformation, the integral technique, and the theory of time scale are used in the establishment of these oscillation criteria. The proposed results unify continuous and discrete analysis, and the process of deduction is further extended to another class of nonlinear third-order delay dynamic equations involving a local fractional derivative with a super-linear neutral term and a damping term. As applications for the established oscillation criteria, some examples are given.

The existence and uniqueness of mild solution for the considered systems are proved in Hilbert space framework. Sufficient and necessary conditions for exponential stabilisation are given. Abstract:The objective of this study is to demonstrate the existence and uniqueness of a solution to a coupled system of infinite-delay fractional q integro-differential equations. The equation that will be the focus of this paper's analysis is noteworthy and innovative since it combines fractional differentiation with fractional q integration and has numerous applications to real-world occurrences. The existence of the solution is established using the Schauder fixed-point theorem. The uniqueness of a solution will be evaluated using Banach's fixed-point theorem. The definitions of the Riemann fractional q integral and the Caputo fractional derivative are used to arrive at a numerical solution to the coupled system. Then, the merge of the trapezoidal finite difference methodology is integrated. The finite difference approach is used for the first and second derivative components, whereas the trapezoidal method is used for the integral components. As a result, a set of straightforward algebraic equations will be produced, from which we can deduce the solution. Some applications are provided to illustrate our main conclusions.

Abstract:In this paper nonlinear boundary value problems for discontinuous delayed differential equations are considered. Some existence and boundedness results of solutions are obtained via the method of upper and lower solutions, which may be discontinuous. Our analysis can be applied to those phenomena from physics and control theory which have been successfully described by delayed differential equations with discontinuous functions, such as electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic networks. It is also an important step to precede the design of control signals when finite-time or practical stability control are concerned.
