Abstract:This paper reports a new 3-D chaotic system, which consists of three coupled first-order ordinary differential equations with three nonlinear cross-product terms. This chaotic system is not only analyzed by computer simulations but also verified with some dynamical properties, including bifurcations and Lyapunov exponents. Moreover, the system is realized via an analog electronic circuit by using resistances, capacitances, amplifiers and multipliers. Various attractors of this chaotic system are observed in laboratory experiment.

Abstract:In this paper, a novel three-dimensional quadratic autonomous double-wing chaotic system is introduced and analyzed theoretically. The chaotic system is constructed with three control parameters and two different nonlinear items, in which one of the nonlinear term constituted by the sign function and the other nonlinear constituted by the square function. Some of its detailed basic dynamical properties, such as theoretical analysis, numerical simulation, the equilibrium point, Lyapunov exponent (LE) spectrum and bifurcation diagram are investigated either analytically or numerically. Moreover, an analog circuit diagram is designed to realize the new chaotic system. Circuit experiment result of the chaotic attractor is identical to computer simulation, and the chaotic characteristic is verified.

Abstract:In this paper, a new chaotic system of three-dimensional quadratic autonomous differential equations is reported. Some basic dynamical properties, such as Lyapunov exponents, fractal dimension, Poincare mapping, the continuous spectrum and chaotic behavior of this new transverse butterfly attractor are investigated. Furthermore, the complex chaotic dynamical behavior of the system has been also proofed by experimental simulation of a designed electronic oscillator circuit based on Electronics Work Bench 5.12 (EWB).

Abstract:In order to generate complex chaotic attractors, we construct a new three-dimensional quadratic autonomous chaotic system, in which each equation contains a single quadratic cross-product term and a system parameter. Basic dynamic properties of the new system are investigated via theoretical analysis and numerical simulation using the Lyapunov exponent spectrum and bifurcation diagram. Our results show that this system has five equilibria, therefore is not topologically equivalent to the Lorenz, Rsslor or the Chen and Lü systems, and the new system is chaotic when its parameters satisfy certain conditions. Compared with the systems mentioned above, the proposed system has larger positive Lyapunov exponent,displays a complex attractor and some other interesting properties. An electronic circuit was designed to realize the new chaotic system. Experimental chaotic behaviors of the system were found to be identical to the dynamic properties predicted by theoretical analysis and numerical simulations.

Abstract:In this paper,a continuous 3-D autonomic chaotic system is proposed by introducing an additional switching function in order to generate complex chaotic signals.Some basic properties,including symmetry,dissipativity,equilibria,stability and Hopf bifurcation,of this chaotic system are analyzed in detail.The existence of chaos is verified with theoretical analysis,the Lyapunov exponent spectrum and simulation experiments,and various chaotic attractors of this system are observed from the simulations.

Abstract:This paper presents a new 3-D autonomous chaotic system, which is topologically non-equivalent to the original Lorenz and all Lorenz-like systems. Of particular interest is that the chaotic system can generate double-scroll chaotic attractors in a very wide parameter domain with only two stable equilibria. The existence of singularly degenerate heteroclinic cycles for a suitable choice of the parameters is investigated. Periodic solutions and chaotic attractors can be found when these cycles disappear. Finally, the complicated dynamics are studied by virtue of theoretical analysis, numerical simulation and Lyapunov exponents spectrum. The obtained results clearly show that the chaotic system deserves further detailed investigation.

Abstract:In this paper, a new three-dimensional autonomous system with complex dynamical behaviors is reported. This new system has three quadratic nonlinear terms and one constant term. One remarkable feature of the system is that it can generate multiple chaotic and multiple periodic attractors in a wide range of system parameters. The presence of coexisting chaotic and periodic attractors in the system is investigated. Moreover, it is easily found that the new system also can generate four-scroll chaotic attractor. Some basic dynamical behaviors of the system are investigated through theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.

Abstract:This paper reports the finding of a new chaotic system in a simple three-dimensional (3D) autonomous system with two nonlinear terms, which has rich and complex dynamical behaviors, and its control. Of particular interest is the fact that new chaotic system has a chaotic attractor, one stable node-focus and one unstable saddle-focus. To understand the complex dynamics of the system, some basic dynamical properties, such as equilibria, stability, the complete mathematical characterizations for Hopf bifurcation are rigorously derived and studied. Furthermore, the existence of singularly degenerate heteroclinic cycles for a suitable choice of parameters is investigated. Finally, the control problem of a new unusual chaotic system is investigated using negative feedback control. The ordinary feedback control, dislocated feedback control, enhancing feedback control and speed feedback control are used to suppress chaos to unstable equilibrium. The design is also illustrated with both simulations and experiments.

Abstract:This paper investigates a new three-dimensional continuous quadratic autonomous chaotic system which is not topologically equivalent to the Lorenz system. The dynamical behaviours of this system are further investigated in detail, including the ultimate boundedness, the invariant sets and the global attraction domain according to Lyapunov stability theory of dynamical systems. The innovation of the paper lies in the fact that this paper not only proves this chaotic system is globally bounded for the parameters of this system but also gives a family of mathematical expressions of global exponential attractive sets with respect to the parameters of this system. To validate the ultimate bound estimation, numerical simulations are also investigated. Numerical simulations verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the theoretical scheme.

Abstract:This Letter proposes a novel three-dimensional autonomous system which has complex chaotic dynamics behaviors and gives analysis of novel system. More importantly, the novel system can generate three-layer chaotic attractor, four-layer chaotic attractor, five-layer chaotic attractor, multilayer chaotic attractor by choosing different parameters and initial condition. We analyze the new system by means of phase portraits, Lyapunov exponent spectrum, fractional dimension, bifurcation diagram and Poincaré maps of the system. The three-dimensional autonomous system is totally different from the well-known systems in previous work. The new multilayer chaotic attractors are also worth causing attention.

Abstract:This paper reports a novel three-dimensional autonomous chaotic system. By choosing an appropriate bifurcation parameter, we prove that a Hopf bifurcation occurs in this system when the bifurcation parameter exceeds a critical value, and some basic dynamical properties, such as Lyapunov exponents, fractal dimension, bifurcation diagram, continuous spectrum and chaotic dynamical behaviors of the new chaotic system are studied. Furthermore, the forming mechanism of its compound structure obtained by merging together two simple attractors after performing one mirror operation has been investigated by detailed numerical as well as theoretical analysis.

Abstract:To seek for lower-dimensional chaotic systems that have complex topological attractor structure with simple algebraic system structure, a new chaotic system of three-dimensional autonomous ordinary differential equations is presented. The new system has simple algebraic structure, and can display a 2-scroll attractor with complex topological structure, which is different from the Lorenz's, Chen's and Lu's attractors. By introducing a linear state feedback controller, the system can be controlled to generate a hyperchaotic attractor. The novel chaotic attractor, hyperchaotic attractor and dynamical behaviors of corresponding systems are further investigated by employing Lyapunov exponent spectrum, bifurcation diagram, Poincare mapping and phase portrait, etc., and then verified by simulating an experimental circuit.

Abstract:A novel chaotic system of three-dimension smooth quadratic autonomous ordinary differential polynomial derived from the Chen system is proposed in this work. And it is capable of displaying complex four scroll strange attractors of chaos. And some basic properties of the newly presented three-dimensional chaotic system have been studied, and it is theoretically proved that the system is not differentiated from the current known systems. In addition, the complicated nonlinear dynamical behavior of the newly introduced system is investigated in detail by adopting the process of theoretical or numerical simulations of Lyapunov exponents, bifurcation diagrams, phase trajectories. Interestingly, the chaotic system can also generate two other types of attractors: a single scroll chaotic attractor and two scroll one, which illustrates that the topology is more complex than the Chen system in terms of topological structure.

Abstract:In this paper, a new three-dimensional autonomous chaotic system is proposed. However, the structural form of the new chaotic system is limited to a double-wing like most Lorenz-like systems. According to the equilibrium points and topological structure of this double-wing chaotic system we design some appropriate nonlinear functions for it. Then, the new double-wing chaotic system can be modified into a grid multi-wing chaotic system. Basic dynamical properties of the system are studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, which proves the chaotic behaviors of this new grid multi-wing chaotic system. Finally, an oscillator circuit is designed for implementation. The circuit simulation results are in good agreement with the numerical simulation results.

Abstract:A new four-dimensional continuous-time autonomous hyperchaotic Lorenz-type system is introduced and analyzed. This hyperchaotic system is not only visualized by computer simulation but also verified with bifurcation analysis and realized with an electronic circuit. Moreover, explicit formulae for estimating the ultimate bound and positive invariant set of the system are derived by constructing a family of generalized Lyapunov functions. Abstract:This Letter presents a new three-dimensional autonomous system with four quadratic terms. The system with five equilibrium points has complex chaotic dynamics behaviors. It can generate many different single chaotic attractors and double coexisting chaotic attractors over a large range of parameters. We observe that these chaotic attractors were rarely reported in previous work. The complex dynamical behaviors of the system are further investigated by means of phase portraits, Lyapunov exponents spectrum, Lyapunov dimension, dissipativeness of system, bifurcation diagram and Poincaré map. The physical circuit experimental results of the chaotic attractors show agreement with numerical simulations. More importantly, the analysis of frequency spectrum shows that the novel system has a broad frequency bandwidth, which is very desirable for engineering applications such as secure communications.
