Abstract:Neuroimaging studies have suggested the resting-state functional connectivity facilitated the understanding of human cognition and behavior. However, the function of the post-task resting-state functional connectivity is still known little. This study was using a 'rest-task-rest' design, to investigate functional connectivity alterations in the default mode network (DMN) in health subjects. As compared to the pre-task resting-state fMRI session, the post-task session DMN show an increased functional connectivity for regions between the PCC and right MFG and MOrbiFC at a connectivity map level. We believe that these finding may be helpful for facilitating further understanding of the potential mechanism underlying pain
