Abstract:This study selected 93 children aged 6-8 were tested for assessing the development of children classification ability under the dynamic testing model, and to identify the advantages of dynamic testing to assess children's at the potential development of cognition. The study reached the following conclusions: the total potential capacity development are the same on the children's classification ability of different nation and gender; but there are significant differences in different ages, high-age children have access to the higher potential for development; The children who are in a disadvantage status need more intervention and training to get better on the potential development of cognition; the classification ability of children are related to their general cognitive ability, the medium level's group are more likely to become high-gainers under the dynamic testing model.
