Design and Implementation of English Network Learning Platform based on knowledge management

Abstract:With the development of modern information technology and network technology, the construction of online learning platform and English learning website is becoming more and more abundant. They provide learners with rich and convenient knowledge sources, but there are also many problems at the same time, the main reason is that it focuses on the "information" rather than "knowledge". Some famous knowledge management companies, IBM, lotus, Microsoft and other online learning suppliers at home and abroad have integrated learning and knowledge management on the whole. Many achievements have been made in the theoretical research of knowledge management in education field. However, for the related research of basic education, especially for teachers and students, the application of knowledge management is still in the initial stage. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce the concept of knowledge management into the network learning platform. The main part of this paper is the design and implementation of the network learning platform. In the design part, the author analyzes the learning needs of English learners, according to the knowledge management activities, the design process of the network learning platform, the structure of knowledge management activities, and then analyzes the four aspects of the personal knowledge management subsystem. The project coordination subsystem, knowledge base system and system management subsystem are designed in detail.
