Abstract:(2R,4S,5S)-(+)-threo-5-(2,2-dichloroacetamido)-4-(4-nitrophenyl)-2-aryl-1,3-dioxanes were synthesized with high diastereoselectivity and good yields. The structures of acetals were determined and the configurations were confirmed by 2D-NMR (NOESY).

Abstract:The title compound, (1R,2R,3R,5S)-3-(3-chlorophenyl)-1-hydroxy-2-methyl-6-phenyl-8-oxa-6-azabicyclo[3.2.1]octan-7-one, was synthesized and characterized by H-1 and C-13 NMR and HRMS spectroscopy. Its absolute molecular configuration was investigated by X-ray crystallography. The crystal structure analysis revealed that the structure exhibits intermolecular hydrogen bonds of the type O-H horizontal ellipsis O. The methyl group and chlorophenyl group are located in the cis configuration. The conformation is stabilized by weak intermolecular C-H... O interactions.

Abstract:The reactions of α-bromoacetophenones with methylhydrazine in refluxing acetic acid generated 2-methyl-4-aryl-2H-[1,2,3]triazoles in good yields. The method was developed by the reactions of α-bromoacetophenones with phenylhydrazines in the presence of cupric ion, leading to 2,4-diary-2H-[1,2,3]triazoles. The structures were established on the basis of corresponding IR, 1H NMR, and elemental analysis data.

Abstract:A series of 1-(1-phenyl-H-1-tetrazole-5-ylthiol)acetyl-4-aroylthiosemicarbazides were synthesized in good to excellent yields under phase transfer catalytic conditions. By the cyclization of compounds 3a-i in concentrated H2SO4 at 0 degrees C,2-aroylamino-5-(1-phenyl-H-1-tetrazole-5-ylthiolmethylene)-1,3,4-thiadiazoles were obtained in high yields. The structures of the products were established by elemental analysis, IR, H-1 NMR, and C-13 NMR.

Abstract:Two ethyl 3-acetamido-4-aryl-6-methyl-2-oxo-3,4-dihydropyran-5-carboxylates（3） were synthesized with high diastereoselectivities and characterized by IR,NMR and MS.The configuration of 3a was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction,ethyl 3-acetamido-4-（4-nitrophenyl）-6-methyl-2-oxo-3,4-dihydropyran-5-carboxylate（3a）,C17H18N2O7.The crystal is of orthorhombic,space group Pbca with a = 11.7781（16）,b = 9.5979（10）,c = 32.115（3）,V = 3630.4（7）3,Z = 8,Mr = 362.33,Dc = 1.326 Mg/m^3,λ = 0.71073,μ（MoKα） = 0.104 mm^-1,F（000） = 1520,the final R = 0.0646 and wR = 0.1464 for 1788 observed reflections with I 〉 2σ（I）.The N-H and oxygen atom are involved in intermolecular hydrogen bonds which link the molecules into a one-dimensional chain and stabilize the structure.

Abstract:The diastereomeric racemates (1S, 4R; 1R, 4S) and (1S, 4S; 1R, 4R) 2-amino-3-cyano-1-phenyl-4-(3, 4-methylenedioxyphenyl)-2-cyclopentene-1 were synthesized by the catalysis of low-valent titanium reagent (TiCl4-Zn) with; 3-oxo-1-( 3' , 4'-methylenedioxyphenyl)-3-phenylpropyl-1-propanedinitrile. Abstract:OBJECTIVE To study the synthetic method of 2-aminoxy-1- aminoethane dihydrochloride. METHOD The objective compound was synthesized by steps of ring-opening, condensation, hydrazinolysis and hydrolysis, starting from phthalic anhydride.RESULTS The chemical structure of synthetic product was confirmed by IR and 1HNMR, the total yield was amount to 39.4%. CONCLUSION This synthetic route is practical.

Abstract:A new compound ethyl 4-[(E)-2-(3, 4-dimethoxyphenyl)vinyl]phenoxyacetate was synthesized from 3, 4-dimethoxybenzaldehyde and p-nitrotoluene via five steps, including condensation, catalytic reduction, diazotization, hydrolyzation and nucleophilic substitution. The structure of the compound was determined by 1D (1H and 13C NMR) and 2D NMR techniques including 1H-1H COSY, HMQC and HMBC. All 1H and 13C NMR chemical shifts of the compound were assigned.

Abstract:Chiral 1-amino-2-propanols 4-5 were prepared by racemic 1-amino-2-propanol and chiral tartaric acid. Then, chiral N-dichloroacetyl-2-substituted-5-methyl-1,3-oxazolidines 6-11 were synthesized by the reaction of chiral 1-amino-2-propanol with ketone and dichloroacetyl chloride. The structures of the compounds were characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The configuration of 7 was determined by X-ray crystallography.

Abstract:A series of 1,3-diaryl-1-oxo-propylene compounds(1a~1j)were obtained from substituted acetophenone and substituted aromatic aldehydes.Ten 1,3-diaryl-1-acetones(3a~3j)were synthe-sized by the reaction of 1a ~1j with 4-methylbenzenesulfonhydrazide(2).The structures were con-firmed by 1H NMR, 13C NMR,IR and HR-MS(ESI).The effects of base,solvent,temperature and the ratio{γ[n(1a)/n(2)n/(base)]} on the yield of 3a were studied.The results showed that 3a could be obtained with the highest yield(80%)under the optimum conditions(γ=1/2/2, potassium phosphate as base,ethanol as solvent,reaction at 80 ℃for 4 h).

Abstract:A series of 1,4-bis (dichloroacetyI)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoxalines (4) were synthesized by cyclization and acylation reactions with o-phenylenediamine and 1,2-dibronnoalkanes as the starting materials in the presence of NaHCO3 as attaching acid agent. The structures of all the compounds were characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR, MS and elemental analysis. The single crystal of 3a, 4d and 6 were determined by X-ray crystallography.

Abstract:2-Dichloromethyl-2-phonyl-1,3-dioxolane was synthesized by a sequential procedure involving microwave-assisted acetalization of benzaldehyde with glycol and carbene insertion to acetal with chloroform using TEBA as phase transfer catalyst. The X-ray structure determination confirmed the structure, and the product was further characterized by IR, H-1 NMR, C-13 NMR and elemental analysis. In the structure of the title compound, there were extensive hydrogen bonds between H atoms and 0 atoms. No significant pi-pi interactions were found in the crystal structure.

Abstract:The annelation of 1,2,3-thiadiazole rings was accomplished by the reaction of N-acylhydrazone 2a bearing an adjacent α-methyl with thionyl chloride to give α-chloro-N-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-4-acetamide 4 and was demonstrated by the X-ray crystal structure of its derivative 5a. A novel series of α-substituted phenoxy-N-methyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-4-acetamide 5 were synthesized through the reaction of the compound 4 and phenols. The results of bioassays show that the title compounds exhibit good anti-HBV activities. The crystal of compound 5a, N-methyl-α-2-bromophenyl-1,2,3-thiadiazole-4-acetamide, has been prepared and determined by X-ray diffraction.

Abstract:Two new asymmetrical 3-(p-R-phenyl)-4-amino-5-(2-pyridyl)-1,2,4-triazoles (3a, R = CH3 and 3b, R = OCH3) were synthesized with a yield of 58; and 69;, respectively. The compounds 3a and 3b were characterized with FT-IR, 1H NMR, ESI-MS spectra, and elemental analysis.
