Abstract:We calculate the mass spectrum of the Qs (q) over bar(q) over bar (Q = c, b) tetraquark states with J(P) = (0, 1, 2)(+) using the AL1 quark potential model, which successfully describes the conventional hadron spectrum. We employ the Gaussian expansion method to solve the four-body Schrodinger equation and use the complex scaling method to identify the resonances. With the notation T-Qs,I(J)(Theo.), we find several near-threshold bound states and resonances, including T-cs,0(0)(Theo.)(2350), T-cs,0(0)(Theo.)(2906), T-bs,0(0)(Theo.)(5781), T-bs,0(1)(Theo.)(5840), and T-bs,0(0)(Theo.)(6240), which are close to the D (K) over bar, D*(K) over bar*, (B) over bar (K) over bar, (B) over bar*(K) over bar, and (B) over bar* (K) over bar* thresholds, respectively. Furthermore, their spatial structures clearly support their molecular natures. The resonance T-cs,0(0)(Theo.)(2906) with a mass of 2906 MeV, a width of 20 MeV, and quantum numbers I(JP ) = 0(0)(+) may serve as a good candidate for the experimental T-cs0(2900) state. We strongly urge the experimental search of the predicted states.
B→χc0,2K Decays: A Model Estimation

Abstract:In this Letter, we investigate the vertex corrections and spectator hard scattering contributions to B→χc0,2K decays, which has no leading contribution from naive factorization scheme. A non-zero binding energy b=2mc−M is introduced to regularize the infrared divergence of the vertex part. The spectator diagrams also contain logarithmic and linear infrared divergences, for which we adopt a model dependent parametrization. If we neglect possible strong phases in the hard spectator contributions, we obtain a too small branching ratio for χc0K while too large one for χc2K, as can be seen from the ratio of the branching ratio of B+→χc2K+ to that of B+→χc0K+, which is predicted to be 2.15−0.76+0.63 in our model, while experimentally it should be about 0.1 or even smaller. But a closer examination shows that, assuming large strong phases difference between the twist-2 and twist-3 spectator terms, together with a slightly larger spectator infrared cutoff parameter Λh, it is possible to accommodate the experimental data. This shows that, for B→χc0,2K decays with no factorizable contributions, QCDF seems capable of producing decay rates close to experiments, in contrast to the B→J/ψK decay which is dominated by the factorizable contributions.

Abstract:Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD) sum rules are used to study the mass spectrum of bottom-charm hybrid (b) over bar Gc systems. The correlation functions and the spectral densities are calculated up to dimension six condensates at leading order of alpha(s) for several J(P) quantum numbers. After performing the QCD sum rule analysis, we predict the masses of the J(P) = 0(-), 0(+), 1(-), 1(+), 2(-), 2(+) bottom-charm hybrids. These mass predictions show a similar supermultiplet structure as the bottomonium and charmonium hybrids. Using the QCD sum rule mass predictions we analyze the possible hadronic decay patterns of the (c) over bar Gc, (b) over bar Gc and (b) over bar Gc hybrids including the open-flavor and hidden-flavor mechanisms.

Abstract:We have studied the mass spectra of the hidden-charm/bottom qc (q) over bar(c) over bar, sc (s) over bar(c) over bar and qb (q) over bar(b) over bar, sb (s) over bar(b) over bar tetraquark states with J(PC) = 0(++) and 2(++) in the framework of QCD sum rules. We construct ten scalar and four tensor interpolating currents in a systematic way and calculate the mass spectra for these tetraquark states. The X* (3860) may be either an isoscalar tetraquark state or chi(c0)(2P) If the X* (3860) is a tetraquark candidate, our results prefer the 0(++) option over the 2(++) one. The X* (4160) may be classified as either the scalar or tensor qc (q) over bar(c) over bar tetraquark state, while the X *(3915) favors a 0(++) qc (q) over bar(c) over bar or sc (s) over bar(c) over bar tetraquark assignment over the tensor one. The X *(4350) cannot be interpreted as a scsc tetraquark with either J(PC) = 0(++) 2(++).

Abstract:We construct charmoniumlike and bottomoniumlike molecular interpolating currents with quantum numbers J(PC) = 1(+-) in a systematic way, including both color singlet-singlet and color octet-octet structures. Using these interpolating currents, we calculate two-point correlation functions and perform QCD sum rule analyses to obtain mass spectra of the charmoniumlike and bottomoniumlike molecular states. Masses of the charmoniumlike (q) over barc (c) over barq molecular states for these various currents are extracted in the range 3.85-4.22 GeV, which are in good agreement with observed masses of the Z(c) resonances. Our numerical results suggest a possible landscape of hadronic molecule interpretations of the newly observed Z(c) states. Mass spectra of the bottomoniumlike _ (q) over barb (b) over barq molecular states are similarly obtained in the range 9.92-10.48 GeV, which support the interpretation of the Z(b()10610) meson as a molecular state within theoretical uncertainties. Possible decay channels of these molecular states are also discussed.

Abstract:In this work, the spectra and decay properties of $B_c$ mesons ($c\bar{b}$) have been investigated using a non-relativistic potential model incorporating corrections from LQCD. The non-relativistic Schrodinger wave equation is solved numerically using the Matrix Numerov Method. Using the obtained masses and wave functions, decay widths, lifetime, branching ratios and radiative decay widths are computed for the $c\bar{b}$ system. We compare the obtained results with the experimental data and with other theoretical models.

Abstract:We calculate the annihilation decay widths of spin-singlet heavy quarkonia h(c), h(b) and eta(b) into light hadrons with both QCD and relativistic corrections at order O(alpha(s)v(2)) in nonrelativistic QCD. With appropriate estimates for the long-distance matrix elements by using the potential model and operator evolution method, we find that our predictions of these decay widths are consistent with recent experimental measurements. We also find that the O(alpha(s)v(2)) corrections are small for b (b) over bar states but substantial for c (c) over bar states. In particular, the negative contribution of O(alpha(s)v(2)) correction to the h(c) decay can lower the decay width, as compared with previous predictions without the O(alpha(s)v(2)) correction, and thus result in a good agreement with the recent BESIII measurement.

Abstract:The mass spectra and wave functions for the doubly heavy baryons are computed under the picture that the two heavy quarks inside a doubly heavy baryon, such as two $c$-quarks in $\Xi_{cc}$, combine into a heavy `diquark core' in color anti-triplet firstly, then the diquark core turns into a color-less doubly heavy baryon via combining the light $q$-quark inside the baryon. Namely both of the combinations, the two heavy quarks inside the baryon into a diquark core in color anti-triplet and the heavy diquark core with the light quark into the baryon, are depicted by relativistic Bethe-Salpeter equations (BSEs) with an accordingly QCD inspired kernel respectively, although in the paper only the heavy diquark cores with the quantum numbers $J^P=1^+$ are considered. Since the `second combination' is of the heavy diquark core and the light quark, so the structure effect of the diquark core to the relevant kernel of the BSE is specially considered in terms of the diquark-core wave functions. The mass spectra and wave functions for the `low-laying' doubly heavy baryons in the flavors $(ccq)$, $(bcq)$ and $(bbq)$ and in the quantum numbers $J^P=\frac{1}{2}^+$, $J^P=\frac{3}{2}^+$, achieved by solving the equations under the so-called instantaneous approximation, are presented properly and some comparisons with the others' results under different approaches in the literature are made.

Heavy baryons in the relativized quark model with chromodynamics

Abstract:Following the work of Capstick and Isgur [\href{<a class="link-external link-https" href="https://doi.org/10.1103/PhysRevD.34.2809" rel="external noopener nofollow">this https URL</a>}{Phys.~Rev.~D~34,~2809~(1986)}], we systematically study the mass spectrum of the heavy baryons in the relativized quark potential model with chromodynamics. Besides the original Godfrey-Isgur (GI) model, we also adopt a modified GI model which replaces the linear confinement by a screened one. The two models give similar results in our work. All heavy baryons observed so far can be explained as three-quark states. In particular, we identify the $\Omega_{c}(3000)$/$\Omega_{b}(6316)$, $\Omega_{c}(3050)$/$\Omega_{b}(6330)$, $\Omega_{c}(3065)$/$\Omega_{b}(6340)$ and $\Omega_{c}(3090)$/$\Omega_{b}(6350)$ states as the $p_{\lambda}$ excitations with quantum numbers $1/2^{-}$, $3/2^{-}$, $3/2^{-}$ and $5/2^{-}$. The $\Omega_{c}(3120)$ is a $3/2^{-}$ state with the $p_{\rho}$ excitation, whose bottom partner is predicted to be $\Omega_{b}(6446/6457,3/2^{-})$. The higher state $\Omega_{c}(3188)$ is the $2s_{\lambda}$ excitation with quantum numbers $1/2^{+}$, and $\Omega_{c}(3327)$ is a $d_{\lambda}$ excitation with quantum numbers $3/2^{+}$ or $5/2^{+}$. In addition, the $\Lambda_{c}(2940)$ with quantum numbers $J^{P}=3/2^{-}$ could be explained as the $p_{\rho}$ excitation.

Abstract:Very recently, LHCb Collaboration observed that two new Ωc0 states decay into Ξc+K− with masses of about 3185 MeV and 3327 MeV. However, their spin-parity quantum numbers JP have not been determined. In this paper, we exploit the quark-diquark model, the linear Regge trajectory and the perturbation treatment method to analyze the mass spectra of the discovered experimental data for the singly heavy baryons Σc/Σb , Ξc′/Ξb′ , and Ωc/Ωb . In addition, we further predict the mass spectra of several unobserved Σc/Σb , Ξc′/Ξb′ , and Ωc/Ωb baryons. In the case of the Ωc(3185)0 and Ωc(3327)0 states, we determine Ωc(3185)0 as 2S state and Ωc(3327)0 as 1D state with JP=1/2+ and JP=3/2+ , respectively. Abstract:We study the most recently observed excited B-c states with the Dyson-Schwinger equation and the Bethe-Salpeter equation approach of continuum QCD. The obtained MBc+(2S) = 6.813(16) GeV, M B-c*+((2S)) = 6.841(18) GeV and the mass splitting MBc+(2S) - M-Bc*+(2S)(rec) approximate to 0.039 GeV agree with the observations very well. Moreover we predict the leptonic decay constant f(B+c(2S)) = -0.165(10) GeV, f(Bc*+(2S))( )= -0.161(7) GeV, respectively.

Abstract:We use a symmetry-preserving truncation of meson and baryon bound-state equations in quantum field theory in order to develop a unified description of systems constituted from light and heavy quarks. In particular, we compute the spectrum and leptonic decay constants of ground-state pseudoscalar and vector mesons: q'(q) over bar, Q'(Q) over bar, with q', q = u, d, s and Q', Q = c, b, and the masses of J(P) = 3/2(+) baryons and their first positive-parity excitations, including those containing one or more heavy quarks. This Poincare covariant analysis predicts that such baryons have a complicated angular momentum structure. For instance, the ground states are all primarily S wave in character, but each possesses P-, D- and F-wave components, with the P-wave fraction being large in the qqq states, and the first positive-parity excitation in each channel having a large D-wave component, which grows with increasing current-quark mass, but also exhibits features consistent with a radial excitation. The configuration space extent of all such baryons decreases as the mass of the valence-quark constituents increases.

Abstract:We report on studies of three types of B-meson decay that can contribute to an understanding of fundamental intergenerational quark mixing, charge-conjugation--parity violation, and long-distance quantum chromodynamics. Specifically, we discuss a selection of analyses related to the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) parameters Vcb, Vub, alpha, and gamma, and the nonperturbative heavy quark effective theory quantities lambda_1 and lambda_bar. We first describe an examination of the first and second moments of the hadronic-recoil mass and charged-lepton energy spectra in inclusive b -> c l nu decays. We also report on the reconstruction, using similar experimental techniques, of the CKM-suppressed decay B -> rho l nu and the extraction of its branching fraction, Br(B0 -> rho- l+ nu) = (2.57 +- 0.29 +0.33/-0.46 +- 0.41) x 10E-4, as well as the value |Vub| = (3.25 +- 0.14 +0.21/-0.29 +- 0.55) x 10E-3, where the uncertainties are statistical, systematic, and due to model dependence, respectively. Finally, we present results on rare two-body charmless hadronic B -> K pi, pi pi, and K K decays and comment briefly on their implications to the geometry of the CKM unitarity triangle, including a bound on gamma.

Abstract:In the framework of the one-boson exchange model, we have calculated the effective potentials between two heavy mesons B (B) over bar* and D (D) over bar* from the t- and u-channel pi-, eta, rho-, omega-, and sigma-meson exchanges with four kinds of quantum number: I = 0, J(PC) = 1(++); 1 = 0, J(PC) = 1(+-); I = 1, J(PC) = 1(++); I = 1, J(PC) = 1(+-). We keep the recoil corrections to the B (B) over bar* and D (D) over bar* systems up to O(1/m(2)) The spin-orbit force appears at O(1/M), which turns out to be important for the very loosely bound molecular states. Our numerical results show that the momentum-related corrections are unfavorable to the formation of the molecular states in the I = 0, J(PC) = 1(++) and I = 1, J(PC) = 1(+-) channels in the D (D) over bar* system.

Abstract:A bstract The spectrum and relativistic wave functions of B c system are investigated via solving the complete Salpeter equation. Emphases are put on the study of the partial waves of each J P state. Our study shows that there are three categories of J P states. The first category contains 0 − and 0 + states, which are 1 S 0 dominant state with a small amount of P wave and 3 P 0 dominant state with a small amount of S wave, respectively. The second category includes the natural parity states, such as 1 − , 2 + , 3 − , etc. Taking the 1 − state as an example, we study it in two cases. One is the 3 S 1 dominant state with a small amount of P and D waves, and the other is the 3 D 1 dominant state but contains a large amount of S and P wave components. The third category includes the unnatural parity states, such as 1 + , 2 − , 3 + , etc. For the 1 + spectrum, the states are grouped into pairs with different radial quantum numbers. Each pair contains two 1 P 1 − 3 P 1 mixing states, and the corresponding mixing angles are calculated by using the relativistic wave functions.

Abstract:We evaluate the light baryonium spectrum, viz. the baryon-antibaryon states, in the framework of QCD sum rules. The nonperturbative contributions up to dimension 12 are taken into account. Numerical results indicate that there might exist eight possible light baryonium states, i.e. p-p¯, Λ-Λ¯, Σ-Σ¯, and Ξ-Ξ¯ with quantum numbers of 0-+ and 1--. For the Λ-Λ¯, Σ-Σ¯, and Ξ-Ξ¯ states, their masses are found above the corresponding dibaryon thresholds, while the masses of p-p¯ states are not. The possible baryonium decay modes are analyzed, which are hopefully measurable in BESIII, BELLEII, and LHCb experiments.
