Abstract:As the development of information technology, people have paid much attention to agile manufacture which had gradually spread from manufacturing to the other industries. Because the slow and passive responds of traditional construction project management mode to external environment, people recognized the impact that the change of external environment on construction project management mode. Therefore, this paper put forward the project management method based on agile thought which could well adapt to the change of environment. This paper first introduced the origin and structure of agile manufacture, and discussed the new characteristics of project management based on agile thought which contained flexibility, virtual, dynamic and speediness. On the basis of this, we brought forward the definition of agile project management. At the same time, we farther gave the guideline and system of agile project management. For the application of the agile thought in project management, we respectively analyzed them in terms of the organization form and working mode which were the organization form of virtual organization and the working mode of concurrent engineering.
