Abstract:Based on the cF model proposed by one of us the prediction of topological structure of protein through its secondary structure sequence is suggested. The prediction rules have been formulated. When used to predict the topological structure of all alpha, all beta and alpha/beta proteins, the score is 85% to 90%. So, in spite of the extreme complexity inherent in the protein structure, there: exists a kind of simplicity behind its complexity.
