Abstract:the transnational and cross-cultural propensity of Overseas Chinese-Language Literature is instrumental in applying the "dissemination" model to the studies of new issues of this discipline,such as the dissemination approaches,modes,and media. However,studies of dissemination by nature focus on the course of dissemination and the effects,directing ultimately towards a conclusion regarding Chinese Literature and Chinese Culture as the nucleus,which is not conducive in accentuating the particularities of Overseas Chinese-Language Literature. Whereas, "communication" model neither intends to follow the path of the radiating traces,nor does it attempt to track down to the origins the other way around;instead,it arranges the concerned sectors equally as parallels with an existing co-relation highlighted. Framed in this research model,Overseas Chinese-Language Literature is becomingly characterized by the disorientation of the nexus within itself,and the inference that it does not necessarily steer toward its native turns out to be consequential. The understanding that the mobility of culture and individuals perse bears no hierarchal set of value judgments is proposed and reiterated. In other words,Overseas Chinese-Language Literature not only interacts with its host countries,it also remains active with Chinese Literature and Culture reciprocally. It's from the perspective of interaction that the genuine worth of Overseas Chinese-Language Literature will then be completely exposed.
